Rated 5 out of 5★ by GOOD VALUE TOOK LONGER TO ASSEMBLE THAN I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT, BUT ALL THE SMALL PARTS WERE ALL THERE. NOT ONLY WERE THEY COVERED IN PLASTIC BUT ALSO TAPED IN PLACE.SEEMS TO WORK VERY WELL, WORTH THE PRICE. 02/01/2014

Rated 5 out of 5★ by Great product for the price The shipment came, to my surprise before Christmas (present to me) although they said it would come after. My husband and I built the equipment and I have to say it was pretty simple as long as you follow the INSTRUCTIONS! There was some difficulty putting the left bar my husband had to use one of his own tools and it took his strength to insert the left pedal hinge bolt all the way through to be able to insert the pin that holds it so it doesn't loosen when in motion. I have used a few times and it has performed very well (its a workout!). I have a two bedroom house so that was another factor that I took in consideration the size of the equipment but it really doesn't take much room. Great way to start on that NEW YEAR'S resolution. :) 01/05/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by No Frills Machine, A Great Value! The more I have this machine the more I am liking it. I've been working out at the gym for years and am transitioning into home exercise instead (tired of the dirty showers and thefts). Anyway this dual trainer along with a step bench are my primary sources of cardio exercise for the winter. I wasn't expecting a gym quality machine for $150, just something I can get my heart rate up to fat- burning level and that can fit in my 2bd apartment.I was impressed with how fast I received the trainer, I ordered on a Sunday and received my order on Wed or Thurs. The Fed Ex delivery man carted it up 3 flights of stairs and even put it inside my door. It took me just under 3 hours to put together but I'm sure someone with mechanical aptitude could do it much faster. The instructions were a little iffy for someone not familiar with crankshafts and such, but anytime I got lost I just looked at the assembled drawing to figure out what went where. The tools and hardware provided are of good quality and the bolts are made of steel, not aluminum. The parts that fit together were heavily lubricated so I would recommend not assembling on a carpet that you care about.Despite my best efforts I couldn't get rid of all of the "wobble" but this is not noticeable once the trainer is put onto a mat or rug for use. I am 5'9 and I have the seat set all the way back and up as far as it can go to make it fit me. Anyone much taller may feel their legs are cramped on the bike mode. I had to restrap the tension cord to make it more challenging and once I adjusted that I am getting a pretty good cardio workout. The issue with the steep pedals is true, I tried propping the front up a few inches which helped with that, but compromised the workout. It gives a much better leg workout in it's intended position so I combat the problem by wearing a pair of rubber soled clogs when I am on it to protect my toes and keep my feet from slipping so much. Once you really get going with the arm poles the unit does tend to sway from side to side, but seeing how it's half my weight I can accept this. I have often reached out to grab water- or the remote- while riding and never has it tipped at all. The fact that it's lightweight is a benefit because I can easily tip and roll it from room to room. I've had it for a couple of weeks and already used it several times, average about 30minutes at a time. Right now I am tightening the nuts and bolts after every use as some of them become loose while riding. I expect this is because of the heavy lubrication present on the various parts. All in all I am satisified with the product and feel the quality is exceptional for the price. It's great to have 2 exercise machines in one when you're short on space. It's relatively quiet with a thick mat underneath. One additional thing, the plastic covering the base is pretty lightweight so if you have rambunctious children or pets I'd keep them away from it. Definately do not put your full body weight on the plastic cover or it will probably break off. When in bike mode, it is difficult to pedal in a high tension setting because of the large size of the pedals. I also have no use for the calorie counter since it it completely inaccurate. The timer is though! For the small cost I feel I got a good, usuable cardio tool. 01/20/2013
Rated 4 out of 5★ by Great Great product I have nothing really bad to say about this product. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that it can be a bit unstable, but that does not take away from the product. Both my wife and I love this elliptical and would recommend it to anyone that wants a very good and well priced elliptical. 01/31/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Fairly easy to put together. Gives a good workout. Seems made for shorter people. I'm 5'7, and have no trouble using it, though if my feet were any longer they wouldn't fit in the peddles. Very satisfied with it. And the 2 year extended warranty at Walmart for less than $15 is WELL worth the investment. 02/11/2013
