Customer Product Reviews

Rated 4.3 out of 5★áby 16reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5★áby Expensive, but worth it. Recently I found a recipe for lemon ginger scones (gluten free) and the recipe calls for almond flour. I checked various grocery stores in my area and found that it is available, but it is kind of expensive. I was thrilled when a recent ad from Walmart included Bob Red Mill's almond flour for quite a bit less than the other stores. I went to my local Walmart only to find that it is not available there. I bought some at the other store, made the recipe and was pleasantly surprised that the almond flour adds a wonderful buttery flavor to the scones without using any butter. My husband even liked the scones and he usually doesn't like any of the gluten free products. I will definitely use this flour again and again. I did find out (on this website) that almond flour is available at another Walmart not too far away. I can also order it from Walmart and have it sent to my home. 12/11/2012
Rated 5 out of 5★áby Great gluten free alternative or low carb baking I love the almond flour. I.use it for all my baking. Makes great pancakes too. I have celiac so I make my own bread and sandwich buns. I make delicious brownies, cookies and breads. I like using the almond flour so I'm not getting to many carbs. Bobs Red Mill does great in everything I have made.. 02/22/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★áby Great taste Paid $3 less for this than at the store in my town. So I bought 5. I am on a low carb life style so I use a lot of almond flour. 02/15/2014
Rated 5 out of 5★áby Yummy almond meal! I used the almond meal to make homemade Amaretti cookies and it worked great! 12/30/2013
Rated 4 out of 5★áby Multipurpose I've used this flour in pastries but I just recently received a bread maker so I'm eager to try it on that. The flavor is milder and it's generally recommended (which I did) to use it with another flour as well. 02/24/2014
