Item Description
Designed for kids and adults alike, Blokus is a strategy game for the whole family. Players take turns placing pieces of their chosen color on the board. Simple to understand, but difficult to win, Blokus encourages creative and strategic thinking. Each new piece must touch at least one other piece of the same color, but only at the corners. When the board is full, each player counts up the squares in their remaining pieces, and the player with least number of squares wins!

Great family fun! Purchased for grand children, 8 and 10 for Christmas and have played several times. Surprisingly challenging, even for adults. Involves strategy and brings laughs and mild aggravation when blocked by another player -- which brings even more laughs! Instructions contain variations for play with less than four players. Can even be played by one player as a mind teaser. Great for family game night or special occasions. 12/28/2009
Excellent game for everyone! I'm getting a second game to give as a gift this year; we liked ours so much that I just have to share! We have a 7 yo son, and we play it more frequently than any other game we own. It's a great game to make you think and stragize. It's easy enough that younger kids can play well the very first time, but hard enough to keep your interest. I paid MUCH more than this online last year, so it's great to see it for less! 12/21/2009

fun and fast strategy game This is an easy to learn but addictive strategy game. It can be played by a family in about 20-25 minutes. I bought another one for our relatives as a family Christmas present, and gave another one away to a local charity to give to a schoolchild. 12/17/2009
