Seems to be a good value I thoroughly researched this product, as I was seeking to replace a similar toaster that my son's friend destroyed. It was important that it had the same features as my old one. I read all the reviews, both pro and con, and decided to take a chance on this one. It has served us well to the present date. It does take somewhat longer to toast, but it does an adequate job. I especially like the Bagle setting, where it toasts only the cut sides of the bagles, and the frozen setting that increases the time it takes toasting frozen items. I also like the wider slots for many of the baked items that would not fit in conventional sized toasters. I don't understand the bad reviews, unless they just got a "bad" toaster, or didn't understand how to use the machine. I would recommend it to a friend in a second. 03/28/2011

B&D Toaster This is our second Black and Decker toaster. Our old one lasted a long time and I wanted another toaster that was similar. Slots are nice and wide and features are very suffficient. I would recommend this product to anyone. 02/03/2012
