What is Sq. Ft. coverage area for one bag?

Hello DR, thanks for your question! This is totally user preference and could depend on the application. I usually use it with a basic topsoil and mix my own for my raised bed gardens.

1st time using this. Does it need to be mixed with soil or can it be used straight?

Spring

This year, walmart stores in Las Cruces, NM finally carry Black Kow manure. I'm so happy about that, im thrilled !! I cant even believe my eyes when I saw those bags of manure stacked outside the store.... I immediately bought some bags of the Black Kow manure that day. Thank you walmart, I hope y'all be stocking some more of those next year. This manure is excelent, lil bit pricey than other manure but the plants are happy!!

Finally !!

Great compost with very little smell. No rocks or trash like EarthGro has. Much happier spending a little more to buy this over the competition

Better compost

Black Kow is very good, mixes well with soil. The price was reasonable. I recommend this for gardens.

Cow Manure

Walmart is the only source for Black Kow products in my town.  It's a quality product that is a great tool and booster for my home food garden.  I'm so happy to have finally found it available locally.

Reliably high quality product

This stuff is actual rich looking dirt, not the ground up mulch you so often get. And not a lot of sticks. I'm sure it has a little manure mixed in but you don't smell anything. Highly recommended.

Great topsoil

I have mixed Black Kow Cow Manure in my veggie garden for years. Normally, the manure is black (even when dry) and has a faint manure  odor.  I just opened a 50lb bag purchased @ Walmart this month. The manure is ''brown'' and no odor. Did they change the process? I have used about 1/3 of it in holes that I plan to plant in, but concerned that I got a bad bag.
