Black & Decker Quick 'N Easy Plus Food Processor 64 82
Won't buy again I thought it would be a good buy due to the name Black & Decker. It held up well and I also put mine in the dishwasher without the problem of it warping. My problem with the product is, even without the disc, everything still comes out of the food chute. I have to stop up the food chute hole with a dish towel to make food go in the bowl. Also, I lost parts to it when moving. When you add the cost of shipping, replacement parts cost as much as what I paid for the product to begin with. Extremely disappointed in this product and going to buy something else this time. 12/28/2009
Piece o' junk When I read the reviews of this I was a little concerned, but since I already had it (bought it at a local Walmart store) I thought I'd at least give it a try firs. I've had this for just 24 hours and it's already broken to where it can't be used. I followed the instructions to the T. I even made a practice run before using it w/food. The first thing I made with it was hummus. Threw the garbanzos in, went to lock the lid & it wouldn't lock. Then, SNAAAP! In locking the lid, a piece by the chute blocker cracked, but the lid still stayed in place so I attempted to finish my hummus. I gently unlock the lid to add more ingredients, inspected the lid, & CRACK! A whole chunk of plastic falls right off the lid! I was hoping I can just hold the lid in place to finish my hummus but it wouldn't work. And since there's a safety feature that won't allow the food processor to run at all until everything is securely locked in place, with the broken lid not secure, the whole thing is worthless, my hummus sits unfinished, and I have to send my husband back to the store to return it for something better. Don't bother w/this piece o' junk. 12/13/2009
You might wanna rethink getting this product I had this product for three weeks before the blades broke and I couldn't use it anymore....I tried to keep using it for other things but after the blades broke there was no reason for keeping it....which made me mad because I do a lot of baking and I make a coconut cake from scratch and it calls for me to shred my own coconut and I couldn't use the processor anymore and had to do it by hand...do you know how hard it is to grate coconut by hand....but I will not buy this product again. 08/06/2009
Disappointing I've gone through two of these processors and the bowl and lid both broke very easily. The first one I had didn't even last a whole year and the second one only lasted a few months. We tried to get replacement parts but they cost almost as much as the price I had paid for the entire processor. I do not recommend this product as it is not at all durable. 07/18/2009
