Great value tho it cost me more in the store I got this at a Wal-Mart store and it was $70 not $59 like it is online. I jumped on it over the regular NICAD ones for the fact it has lithium battery and it is lighter. While I was tempted to buy a kit with more stuff for the same price or a SKIL kit for $54 with 18V battery and a larger size, I ultimately decided on this one due to the lithium ion battery. It works perfectly fine and is very light, tho the drill itself is smaller than the SKIL and the 18V battery on that is massive. Being lighter it will be easier for long time usage if drilling lots of things it wont be so tiresome and heavy. I like that the battery will supposedly hold for a long time as I dont want to have to charge it when I need just a quick use after a long time of sitting in the box. Should work well for me in the long run. It says 20V but I have no clue how volts matters and what is technically better overall. 12/14/2011
excellent tool purchased this tool at walmart last week. I printed the online ad and took it with me and got the $59price. to answer some questions I saw when researching this drill: it is variable speed with the trigger, but a single 0-450 rpm range,it has a clutched chuck for variable screw driving,It is very light and comfortable in the hand,all-in-all a delightful tool to use, and I would recommend it to anyone,the only negative I have is no lining or support inside the case for the drill and charger. 01/01/2012
I bought the drill and charger for 49.00 two days ago now I see the kit with case for 70.The drill, even though its 20v, is not powerful has only one speed setting 0-450 and is not variable speed.I bought it to use as a second drill beside my Black & Decker SC1400 which I love and fear thay after several years of use it may no longer work. The new drill is dissapointing as it is not as powerful or as fast as the SC1400. I drilled into soft wood with a 1/4 inch bit and it was so slow.Am returning it to get the Skill 18v. 12/20/2011
