On the side of the tank is a raised line. Stay below that!

It's inside of the clear part of the iron about 3/4th of the way up.

There is a place on the green cover that indicates "Max", but not in large letters.

I don&#39;t have that problem but I think you may have to apply a little more pressure as you turn the dial past the number 3

where can you find the max level mark for the water?

Make sure the iron is turned off. Tip the iron back a little and use a container with a spout (measuring cup or bottle) pour water in the opening on top of the iron till it reach's the fill line.

There is a hole at the top of the iron. Fill it to the line line on side of iron.

Using a measuring cup just pour it in the top opening above the dial and below the spray spigot.

How do I fill the B & D Corded Easy Stream Iron model # IR34V with water?

Just JUNK the thing, it is a piece of garbage. Mine wouldn't even get hot. I learned my lesson.

as soon as you just pick it back up it starts heating again. If you leave it on its heel it will shut off fully after 8 minutes.

Good question!! It&#39;s the reason I took mine back to the store the next day and spent an extra $10 for the old fashioned B&amp;D Classic iron. Heavier yes but better steam action and a better iron all around.

Got the iron for an excellent price and great quality. The iron gives off lots of steam and knocks the wrinkles right out of any piece of fabric. I also like the fact that the iron has a motion detector which automatically shuts itself off when no motion is shown after a length of time, and once it senses motion it steams right away. I would definitely recommend to a family or friend.

Great for the money

I use Distilled water, only in any Iron that I have to protect them. . My last Iron was dropped during moving to my new residence. . I'm very please to have the same Brand at such a good price.

This is an excellent price & top product.

For the price this is a really good iron, I am a fanatic I iron everything! So I need a sturdy iron that won't go out on me. This iron is light and smooth and the steam setting is great! I've gone thru a lot of irons but I don't remember having a Black and Decker iron. I think this is going to last a long time. Great value!

great iron for the price

My old iron wasn't working very well any longer. Just needed a iron to steam press hubby's shirts & a few of my cottons. So far it is a good buy, light weight and easy to use. Just be careful NOT to over fill as it really gets the clothes wet.

Light replacement iron

It's a great little iron for the money. But, not if you are going to use it while quilting. It shuts off too often. Not very much time goes by before I have to put it down so it will turn back on. If I had kept the box, I would return it and bought something better.

Not for quilters

I got this iron for my student apartment because it was cheap and by Black and Decker, so I thought it would be of good quality. The first time I used the iron I found out that it is not good quality. It was constantly leaking, even though it advertises an "Anti-Leak System"; and it has been staining my clothes. The first time I used it, the iron stained my yoga pants with white streaks, I tried to wash it out but it didn't come out, I thought I just pressed down too hard so I made sure I didn't do that the second time. The next time I used the iron, it left white streaks on almost all of my clothing that I used it on, and even tinted one of my red shirts slightly black. I stopped using it after ironing only about ten articles of clothing and just carefully folded the rest of my clothes to attempt to get out the wrinkles. I think I will be calling the company and complaining about it because the iron did ruin some very good clothes of mine.

Leaks water and stains clothing.

Ordered this for my son in the dorm. It was dead on arrival. He could not exchange it at the local store, as he threw away the box. Had to buy a replacement.

Dud on arrival

I literally HATE this iron...it does NOTHING the description on the box says it does...it doesn't glide...it leaks...it sputtered white junk on some articles or clothing (that made me real mad)...I'm taking it back and spending an extra few dollars for something better!!!

DON'T BUY

My husband purchased this iron and is the worst iron ever. I iron his shirts and water comes out and wets the shirt. Very frustrating and i am not able to return it because he did not keep the box. I will need to purchase another one asap.. My advice you get what you pay for...

Black & Decker Corded Iron

I was incredibly disappointed with this iron. I generally trust Black & Decker to be a good quality brand that produces durable products, but that was NOT the case with this iron. It worked TWICE and then it simply would not heat. The light was on, the handle got a little warm, but the iron never got the least bit warm after two uses. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT to anyone - worth the extra $5-10 to get something that actually works.
