I've been trying to get our yard done with a push mower, but our type of grass just has not been cooperating. I do not like gas powered motors, so we decided to give an electric mower a try. I was happy our local store carried this one, and tried it the next day.
It makes very little noise compared to a gas mower, and it had enough power to mow through our admittedly troublesome lawn with little to no trouble. I managed to get areas with it that I'd previously been unable to approach without heavily weed-whacking first.
It takes a few minutes to get accustomed to managing the cord - once you have a row or two mowed, the cord is not a problem - if you can vacuum your house, you can use this mower.
It is light weight, and I was able to lift it myself into our storage unit with no trouble. It cut high grass without being bogged down, it starts with the flip of a switch, and one 100 ft cord was plenty for my 1/4 acre yard.
The height adjustment is a simple lever on the unit, and can be switched as needed almost on-the-fly (stop the mower first for safety)
If you don't want to mess around with spark plugs, pull cords and gas/oil mixtures for your lawn-care, I'd definitely recommend this to you.
