A great toaster

This toaster replaced one I was very unhappy with. I was worried when I bought it that I'd again be unhappy but this toaster is great! The slots are wide and deep and can handle the thickest bagels. Eggos are no problem for this toaster and the special bagel and frozen buttons are the best! I never had those before and I love them. Buy this toaster - you won't be sorry!

A great product at a great price

This is my second Black and Decker toaster with bagel capability. The last one lasted more than seven years with frequent use. This new one is better looking and has more user friendly features-like the inability to toast one side of bread because one forgot to switch back to toast. The new one requires a selection each time one uses it to toast bagels or only one side of bread and when finished it goes back to be ready for toasting two sides. Bottom line, I LIKE IT!

Product exactly as pictured and described. Works fine, looks great with my other appliances. Unlike many other toasters, this one has deep enough wells so that the bread is toasted evenly all over.

I purchased one toaster that had the very short electric cord ( which all have ) attached to the side of the toaster that all the controls are on. So when plugged in, the controls to operate the dark/light and defrost controls face the wall not towards me. So my question is, where is the cord attached to this toaster? After examining other brands at the store all have the electric cord connected to the contol area. Don't know when companies started this practice. But makes the toaster impossible to use.

  • The cord is connected underneath the right side (as you are looking at it) near the front (the control) which is why the cord seems too short.

  • It's short and towards the front where the controls are present, which works for me as i do not need a longer one..

  • The cord is in the front (on the bottom) but there are two little prongs on both (left/right) sides that supports the cord and holds it in place which allows the cord to be placed towards the back.

  • The toaster cord is located to the left side of the controls. It is a short cord so the toaster must be used sideways. I haven't found this to be problematic.

  • It's on the front, near the control area, and the cord is very short (25 inches, and if you use it in the back, as I do, you loose 8 inches).

  • The cord is under the toaster with a space all around so you can pull it out in any direction.

  • The cord is attached to the bottom of the toaster and the 4 corners sit lower so you can bring the cord out any side you choose. Mine is coming out the back side opposite the controls

  • The cord is connected underneath, and comes out on the side, a very good quality. It is the best toaster i have ever bought, and i have owned many. The cord is at the opposite end of the controls.
