    Very Good Home Fixit Cordless Set The Black & Decker (B&D) 18v Cordless Combo kit has the right tools for a large majority of Home Repair/Remodeling tasks. The tools are excellent for medium duty home use, but are not heavy-duty construction grade.The circular saw can be used with both 7 1/4" and 6 1/2" blades. A 140 tooth blade is definitely needed for sawing plywood, paneling or OSB. The screw/drill symbols on the Torque Adjustment Collar of the Drill are a nice helpful touch.Both the Circular and Reciprocating saws use standard blades of various types which are widely available.B&D uses the same 18v NiCad batteries in their Cordless Garden tools so the batteries and chargers are inter-changable. 05/10/2010
    the drill saw and light work well but the baters are no good you can make 5 or 6 cut with the saw and the bartey is dead 08/03/2009
    Not The Best I can not recommend this combo the drill works fine but is underpowered,the light I have no use for, the rotary saw is okay if 1/4 in. is all you want to cut, the reciprocating saw kills the battery in 10 seconds or less. I have had this set for over a year and haven't gotten much use out of it. 02/20/2010
    Great Product - Love Interchangable Batteries The main reason why I purchased this set was because I have 18v cordless black and decker yard tools. I figured it would be a neat idea to have all the same batteries. It is very convenient.Besides that, the tools work great. I just purchased my first home and need some tools to door home improvements. Granted this isnt heavy duty, but I will tell you everything works as expected. I have trimmed 6 panel doors with the saw with no problem, installed a patio door w/ the saw zaw and the cordless drill - it didnt even stutter. I would not recommend using this for everyday heavy duty use but once in a while it is fine. I can tell that the batteries would not hold up to everyday use - I had to change it once in the 30 minutes I used it. But I cut through a house frame.Batteries are fine - no problem other than when I was doing my big project. Black and Decker recommends leaving the batteries on charge all the time for peek performance - the good thing about these batteries there is no memory - so you can just about charge them after every use.I did notice however the plastic casing is a little cheap. When I am drilling I feel the casing move - no big deal, but I can see it cracking easily.By the way - if this helps convince you - Black and Decker makes Dewalt. 08/06/2010
