Pleased at first..... So this is my first review ever and I'm so upset that I feel compelled to write this review. Whenever I decide to purchase something expensive, I like to check out the reviews first and that is exactly what I did before purchasing this vacuum. All reviews for this vacuum were excellent and people could not stop talking about the suction power of this vacuum and they are right. The vacuum is powerful and sucks up everything. However, after about a year, the on/off button started to mess up. When I would push the on/off button to start, the button wouldn't stick on to stay on. The button would just pop back out like a broken click pen. When I went to vacuum I would have to hold the on button while vacuuming to get it to work. It's a pain if you ask me. Eventually after a few months the button stuck to the on position without me having to hold it and to make sure I could use my vacuum again, I would just unplug the vacuum instead of turning it off with the button so I could avoid having to hold the button. Ahhhh well after about 2 years the flexible tubing leading to the bin started to break. I noticed 5 slits in the vacuum hose. I'm angry because this vacuum was expensive and I purchased it based on reviews. I also liked the fact that it had a 5 year limited warranty. I've emailed customer service and I'm in the process of waiting for a response. I'm not too happy about this because it was my favorite at first. I should have bought the shark vacuum instead but they didn't have it in stock so I couldn't but it. Hope this review helps. 12/06/2011
Yup ,this vac does a great job ! Around here with the more then avarage dirt tracking in it works excellent, so yes id recommend this vac to anyone that needs a hvy duty unit...And it rolls super easy the weight of the machine is well balanced so it handles real well 12/02/2011
Amazing machine! I absolutely love this vacuum!You're going along with the hose, getting around tight spaces in say, the laundry room. Oops! You sucked up a sock! No problem. The hose is clear and for the most part, items get trapped on the back of the machine, where the hose connects. You can see it there, just turn the hose counter clockwise and it comes off. Pull out the sock, put the hose back on. Done.So simple to maintain, and easy to use! I cannot rave about this vacuum enough! The main chamber can be easily taken completely apart for thorough cleaning. The small holes inside the main chamber do get clogged with dust, but that's easily fixed too. If you don't have time to pop off the compartments to give it a good wipe, a few well-directed taps on the side of it will knock most of it loose and you can dispose of it.By far the BEST vacuum I've owned! (we're a family of 5, with pets, and have been through quite a few!) 01/12/2012
great performance This is my second vacuum of this type. I bought one last year, and ended up giving it to my daughter. The one that she had been using had broken. I decided to just let her keep it, and bought myself another one, the exact same one. It may seem slightly heavy to some, but it is fine for me. I was super-impressed with it the very first time I used it. And I'd thought the carpet was clean, before I used the vacuum! One of my favorite features, the one that made the decision for me on the first purchase, is that the roller shuts off so that you can use it on bare floor I would definitely recommend (and already have) this product to anyone. 01/31/2012
