We got this juicer because I wanted to juice spinach & kale, which our old one wouldn't do well. So far it's been great. The pitcher the juice goes into stained right away, as did the end where the pulp comes out. There is more pulp in the juice than our old centrifuge type. Neither of these things bother me. Clean up is relatively easy. The screen is the hardest to clean & you'll need the brush that comes with it. It seems to work best when the pieces are cut small, especially the carrots. We use it everyday & make juice for 3 people. For the short time we've had it, there have been no issues to speak of. It's far cheaper than the other brands of similar style.

My new life and a new Wal-Mart juicer

My new life and a new Wal-Mart juicer. I have three weeks of using my new Wal-Mart juicer and love it. I had been juicing for the past 3 months and feel great, lost 15 pounds and have energy for the whole day. At 54 years old it was time to tune me up, not the car not the computer, it was all about me this time. The Big Boss Vita Press Juicer is a fine machine I had been using a Hamilton Beach centrificly it made a lot of mess and waste but a good starter machine. With the Vita machine I got 50% more juice and made clean up from 10 Min using the Hamilton to just a few Min for the Vita Machine. If you have a loved one you wish to help tune them up send them the Vita Machine and a good Juicer book the book is a must. You may just save someone’s life. One thing read the book I turned it on and it did not work!!! It is a micro controlled DC motor it takes 5 seconds to start. BobM

    Very Nice For This Price

I had the centrifuge type juicer and the juice from this juicer is much better in taste and consultancy. Also there is no foam on this juice. I really like it. The clean up was the best and easiest part. It also runs much quieter than the other Juicers Ive had.

    • Basically all of them. You absolutely need to take the brush to the mesh filter part or you will NEVER get it clean if it dries. Other than the motor all the other parts touch the food and would need to be cleaned.

    • Tray, Pusher, Feeding tube, Spiral pusher, Juice Strainer, Big and small juicing cap, and big and small juicing cups. So , nine pieces total, and I can honestly say it doesn't take over 5 minutes to do. This is really easy to take apart and put back together. I've been juicing everyday since I got it!

    • Only has 5 parts, not including the container that the juice goes in. It's SUPER easy to clean. Can even wash it in the dishwasher!

    • I think it is technically 5, but the only thing that is even remotely difficult to clean is the little screen part, and a brush is provided that makes even that really easy to clean.

    • There are seven parts. I put the parts under hot water and rinse everything out in less than three minutes. Let the parts drain a bit and then reassemble.

    • Not sure about rpms but it works great. I have juiced Kale, Carrots, Apples, oranges, and sweet potatoes. just take it slow and don't be in a big hurry and it works great. The juice is pure and the excess is pretty dry. I have found if I take my time its a better juice. I think if you cut the veggies in a small chunk or slice it will juice anything.

    • It's a slow masticating juicer, not one of those super fast centrifugal ones, so the rpms are slow, as they are supposed to be to preserve the vitamins and minerals. All fruits and veg are allowed in the juicer, except the obvious, like bananas or something... no juice in bananas... It's a juicer, NOT a blender. Not a Vitamix or a Nutribullet, but a juice extractor.

    • The RPM's are low but it juices fast. So far I haven't found anything it can't do. If something is a little too much to chop, the motor reverses to clear itself and then it works on the second pass. You can reverse it at any time.

    • It doesn't say anywhere in the manual about the rpm, but I'll give you the specs it does have 120V/60Hz/150W. This can juice any pretty much any fruit or veggie except avocado and bananas, which no juicer can do, those of some the few things that need to be put in a blender to make into a drink. This particular machine does it's best work on leafy greens and hard veggies.

    • It's low RPM, which makes it even better than a normal juicer. It helps get more of the nutrients out of the fruit/veggies. I haven't yet come across any fruits/vegs that this bad boy can't handle. Surprisingly, it seems to juice harder produce (like carrots) better than softer produce (like berries). It even does an AMAZING job with leafy greens (like spinach and kale).

    • Not sure of the RPM, but this is a slow masticating juicer. So far haven't encountered any fruits or vegetables that I haven't been able to put through the machine.

    • gentle low rpm

    • It's pretty slow, which keeps it quiet (relatively speaking). It's about the same speed as a meat grinder. Anything can go in it. We use carrots (cut small), kale, spinach, lemons, oranges, apples, pears, and ginger. The centrifuge type don't juice kale or spinach well, which is why we went with this one.
