I think they were heavy pages inside-purchased for my grandson-it has been a while.

This a board book, so it&#39;s pages are hard, and safe for you child to flip through on his or her own.

Hard. It&#39;s a very durable book and the kids can&#39;t rip the pages.

12-36 months.  Younger babies may enjoy looking at it, but I found 1 and 2 year olds love pointing out the words they know and making you name everything over and over.

My little great grand daughter seemed to get right into this book.She sat on her dads lap looking at all the bright pages and pointing at the pictures.She was very happy with it.Thank you!

i have 2 toddlers, 1 that is autistic. this book really helps him with new words. love the thick cardboard pages that dont rip and tear like paper pages. we have bought 2 of these so far...more in the future

Bought this book to read with my one year old. I like the simplicity of it and my child likes the  colorful pages. Definitely a must buy.

What a great purchase for my grandson and granddaughter to follow. Extremely well made! I love the coating on the book which makes it cleanable of teething babies! It's a big beautiful book and I would recommend this book to all families!!

Perfection!!

Board Book

Most, if not all, of the vocabulary in this book can be learned in context at home/ within real life experiences. Therefore, I believe this book will be best used by a teacher or child care provider rather than a parent. Teachers or child care providers might not have the appropriate setting or objects to teach these words to young children, so it will serve them well in helping to expand the vocabulary of the children they serve.

A okay purchase

I saw this book a few months ago and decided to get the Dr. Seuss cards instead (which my daughter LOVES). I wanted her to learn more so I went ahead and ordered this since wal mart has it for a lower price. My problem with it is the pictures are confusing. It also has things that some kids never see which is pointless. The pictures are really out of date also. My daughter likes looking at the pictures but when I read the words to her she just flips the page. I made her flash cards and she's learning more from those.
