Rated 5 out of 5 by 996sds Better Homes and Gardens Victorian Floor Lamp The Picture on this site does this lamp NO Justice. This lamp is So much more Elegant in person. I bought 3 lamps and Love all of them. They add a touch of class to any decor. I have earth tones in my living room. I have solid brown cloth furniture and Brown curtains 2 tone valance all in one curtain package, bought at walmart and the walls are colored eldorado tan. 2 tone brown and cream carpet. I would Highly recomend this one to a friend. BUT ... This lamp comes with a light bulb. The Bulb it comes with this is WAY WAY to Bright. It Hurts your eyes to look at it. Or at leaste it does my eyes. We put a frosted flood light bulb 45 watt. With that type of bulb its greyed on the bottom and shines on the celing . YOU can actually see the design in the glass . The Pole is black with gold streaks through it. You cant even really tell its a black pole with all my brown. : )PS: Oh I didnt know this but with the flood light type of bulb, When you turn on the light its really dim then gets to the right light setting. OH Yea its also not a 3 way light. Its an on off type of light. 03/02/2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by brittishie Pretty Lamp It is very pretty, but from the pictures, you would not be able to tell there is some gold all through out the lamo. it is NOT A SOLID BLACK LAMP. that was the only shock to me. luckily its not super noticable and i also have a table lamp with some gold streaks in it so the lamp still matched the rest of my decorations. 03/01/2013
