this rug has a beige background with swirls of spice, brown leather, tuscany red and lava.

cranberry red, brown, beige and a golden brown.

I would say the red is more a burgundy or wine color. There is also a burnt orange or rusty orange color along with a gold or light brown.

I have used a vacuum on mine, I have a bissell and it was fine. I am not quite sure what you mean by beater brushes though so I am not sure how to answer that question.

as long as you have an adjustment on your vacuum, to raise it high and low.,if not it is hard to push the vacuum on it. No pulls though.

Can I use a vaccuum cleaner with carpet beater brushes on this rug? Some rugs snag and pull the yarns.

No, it does not. I put one edge of it under the feet of my couch. It is on hardwood floors and hasn't budged at all.

No it doesn't, I bought a really cheap rug pad on amazon.com and love the rug even more :)

I ordered this rug online and it is more beautiful in my living room than the picture shows! The rug is super soft and very well made. Would love for it to come in an even bigger size!

Very soft & well made.

This rug was a big surprise. I originally intended to use it in my dining room and it really brightened the room up, but...my daughter saw it and suggested we use it in the living room. It made such a big difference that's where it stayed. The colors are beautiful and the rug can be used with so many other colors. It has a soft, thick texture and lays flat...feels really good under bare feet. The swirls of color make an otherwise neutral colored room warm and inviting. The price was amazing for a rug with such richness of color and texture.

I bought this rug for the living room. It looks great on wood floors and has a soft, shaggy feel under your feet.. I have had several compliments on this purchase and the price is wonderful for such a large area rug!
