No. There are no 'legs' on this stand. Only angled connectors for the wheels. You would have to cut the bottom of these legs off to not use the wheels.

No, they are made in one piece to the metal frame.

No. The metal attachments are permanently built into the legs of the stand.

No you have to attach the wheels because there are brackets that will not sit flush to the floor that holds the wheels in place.

You can leave the wheels off. However, the permanent wheel brackets might cause marks or scratches on the floor.

The wheels must be installed. The legs are already fitted to have the wheels on. Without them, you may cause damage to the floor and/or unit. I suspect it may not be as stable.

Not really. The hinge is attached to the frame. :(

The metal "U" shaped piece that holds the wheel is welded to the side frame. If you don't attach the wheel these metal pieces would gouge the floor. These pieces are spot welded to the frame tho so you may be able to remove them but then the full metal frame on the bottom would be on your floor.

The wheels bolt into mounted forks. Cannot detach wheel mounts. You could cut them off.

THE WHEELS DONT MOVE OR COME OFF... THEY ARE NOT FUNCTIONAL ONLY DECORATION. YOU COULD CUT THE WELD OFF BUT THAT WILL LEAVE YOU WITH ADRASIVE METAL BOTTOMS.

The problem isn't with the casters themselves as they turn freely. The part that you attach the caster to does not move/swivel and is a continuation of the side of the frame. It does not appear that you could cut this "U" shaped piece off and have anything left to attach a normal swivel caster to.

Correction to my earlier answer - The U shapes that hold the wheels in a permanent position are spot welded to the side frame pieces. If you are handy you could probably break the weld and do some touch up painting.

No they are welded on the frame but the wheels roll but only to rotate the TV. They look nice too

No, the casters are all part of the metal leg and not removable. The wheels themselves do move, but do not rotate.

No, the wheels connect directly to the frame. Maybe if you were to cut the bottom portion of the frame and attach them, but it doesn't look like it will work easily

What makes you think the wheels don't work? They do work, they roll just fine.

Can you replace the "non working" wheels with working casters?

No you can not adjust the height of the center shelf and I think you can just leave it out. I am not sure if that will compromise the durability of the unit but we found that the shelves are a perfect height for all of our electronics. On thing for sure is this thing is SOLID. I am surprised that something that came out of a box that you have to put together is so heavy duty and durable.

You can not adjust the height of the center shelf without drilling new holes in the metal legs. It does look like you could just not install it. The center shelf does provide a little more support to the legs, but as long as you did not over load the top shelf and go beyond the weight capacity, it should be okay.

Since we have not assembled ours as of yet I don't know, but it looks like you could just leave off the middle shelf.

you could try. it would not look as good. the black metal horizontal bar of the middle shelf is attached/slides over about a 2 inch piece on the vertical bar.
