Rated 1 out of 5 by dependablegal Beware: Better Homes and Gardens Round Mirror. First one I purchased: Hook screw was stripped or the piece it was supposed to attach to was broken because something loose could easily be heard when the mirror was turned upside down. Also, "glass" was coming apart from the frame. I say "glass" because I think the mirror is plastic. If you stand at an angle from it you can see a rippling effect, like the hand mirrors for little girls. Returned it.Second one: After cleaning it I noticed a chip in the mirror. Returned it.Third one: Small, about 1 inch, scratch in the mirror and about 3 scratches in the frame. Daughter used magic marker to fix scratches in frame and could do nothing about the scratch in the mirror. Kept it.Out of the four mirrors I checked, not one was without some sort of flaw. 03/12/2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by beachbum58 I loved the look of this mirror, but basically, you could not hang it. The back is a flimsy cardboard and the warning was not to use wire to hang it. The two small hooks recommended to hang it with were barely attached to the cardboard, which itself was barely attached to the mirror. Cheap design. 03/18/2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by zsazsa123 It's plastic! Perhaps I did read in the description (it has been a while since I bought this) that the frame and mirror are made of plastic, but I don't think so. At this price, I didn't expect fine wood and beveled glass, but I certainly did not think the mirror would not be glass. It is fine as decoration, but the reflection is rather distorted for use. Bummer. 04/19/2012
