Pleasantly Surprised We ordered the set and had it delivered to our house, but had few details about how it would arrive, so we were hoping for the best. The product came in two shipments and we were contacted ahead of time by the freight companies with delivery windows. The boxes were a little beaten up, but the pieces were packaged very well so everything was in perfect new condition. Had to assemble the swivel chairs and the table. The instructions were "fairly" easy to follow, and it did not take long to assemble. My only complaint was that the nuts for the screws on the table did not fit well and we have to request a new nut replacement for one that simply would not fit. The table did require a bit of patience, probably because of the nut issue (it did seem that the paint coating on the nuts were the problem). The set looks very nice - like a much more expensive set. 05/17/2010
Excellent Value! My husband and I had looked for patio furniture everywhere. Most sets were either too expensive, unattractive, or wobbly. A Wal-Mart store happened to be next to another store we had just been to and on a whim we decided to run in "really quick" to see if they had anything. I immediately spotted this set at an unbelievable price. We snagged the last one, brought it home, assembled it, and it's now sitting in our backyard. It's truly a beautiful set. It's a very well-made, sturdy patio set. We are very happy with our purchase. 07/21/2010
Beautiful outdoor dining! I was lucky enough to stumble on this at my local Walmart at the Rollback price, and see everything on display. This is a great quality set at an unbeatable price! Very rarely are dining sets sold with the 2 swivel rocker chairs already included. Both swivel rockers and 4 side chairs are very comfortable, yet durable. The dining table has a pretty pattern with a weathered bronze finish - solid, rust-free aluminum cast that I know can withstand Texas summers! The 2 swivel rockers and table require simple assembly, which goes much faster with 2 people. (My 16 yr old and I did it in minimal time) No problem with the bolts, nuts, and washers...as long as you're careful to not "over-torque" when tightening. But toss the hex wrenches that come with it and use your own tools! A small bottle of touch-up paint was also included. This set comes in 2 boxes. I bought the umbrella and stand separately. Would recommend a 9' umbrella or larger to ensure adequate shade.This is my second purchase of Better Homes & Garden patio furniture this year, and I've been very happy both times. Quality exceeds expectations...so don't pass this up if you find it on Rollback at your local store! 06/01/2010
Perignon at BudLite prices! Like a lot of us, I have champagne taste and a beer budget. I've been looking into buying a patio set for my deck for over two years now and became well aware of the outrageously high price tags which accompany most sets. This year I saved so that I could finally get a set once things were marked down after the Fourth of July.I went to the Lawn and Garden section of Walmart to exchange a propane tank on the Fourth of July and to my surprise I finally found a bottle of Perignon with a BudLite price tag!This set is very attractive and well made. The finish is modern, yet classic. It's light weight, has stackable side chairs, wide seats which can hold quite a few pounds, and at the ROLLBACK price of $398 - it's quite a STEAL! I hope it is as durable as it is beautiful. I will be buying a cover to put on it during the off seasons. After all, I want keep it looking it's best! 07/13/2010
