don't waste your money I bought this stand to have a light next to my chair and to put my laptop on it. It was fine for a couple of weeks. The screws will not stay tight making table weak and it sways when you touch it. I tired to re-inforce it with nails. It is still too weak. Just going to throw in trash and go somewhere else to purchase a table with lamp. Don't waste your money on this table. 01/29/2010

attractive but flimsy At the time I bought this it seemed like such a bargain price and a clever idea. However, I have had it for about a year now and it is completely slanting back and forth as if it had been pushed repeatedly.It has stayed in the same spot for a year and held very little weight. All it every supported was my small personal HP scanjet and a couple of books. It just started leaning after a little while.It's good-looking and seems like a bargain at first, but don't expect it to stand the test of time or hold anything heavy! 09/30/2009
great liittle end table just what i was looking for, end table w/ lamp. cat can't knock lamp off! good construction, nice finish, easy assembly, i glued mine together for more strenght. i use it by my easy chair for light, holding remotes, phone, books, mags. thinking about ordering another! 09/14/2009
