Rated 3 out of 5 by babs1225 Plus and just one minus... The rod looks great but there is not a 3rd bracket to place in the middle of the bar. When my curtains were hung on this bar it slightly bows in the middle without this bracket. Thankfully my curtain and sheer are very lightweight. If it was a heavier curtain the bowing would be really noticeable. 02/06/2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by middlenamepicky Very sturdy.I picked those because of the finials. When I unwrapped them, I was a little disappointed because the finials didn't seem large enough. I thought the pattern wouldn't be seen because we have very high ceilings. Now that they are up, turns out they look just perfect, even 10 feet up high. 10/23/2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by brcrumly Overall good, except some small (tiny) things The item itself is good, I bought 9 of these and all the instructions were copied and blurred so badly you could even try to make out the instructions. The rods were fine, some a little loose. The mounts werent the best, the screw that hold the rods on were a little tight and could only be loosened by hand or pliers, though it had a spot for a phillips (cross tip) screw driver. the mounting was interesting because the bottom screw you could get to and easily install. The top screw was not that easy since the top of the mount (where the rods would be placed) got in the way and you end up putting it at an angle more or less.Overall if you can get over these small things, they are good and worth it. 07/05/2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by ForgottenShadow ...Not a Bad Purchase... Seen something similar at Home Depot (but about $10 more and low grade/ cheap)... So I went with this rod and it surprised me... Although the rod itself is light weight.., it does the job... But the main attraction of these are the rod ends! These are ver high grade.., good manufactered.., and have a lot of weight to them... Sensational! I actually brought 16 of them after the intial wow... And getting the rod to extend over 100" is a simple process... Just go to Lowe's and pick up a sigle pipe the is sized correctly.., but make sure you get it 6" more on both sides over the length of what you need.., this is for stability... I turn 2 pairs of each size and converted them to extend 120"... $10 extra for the extension.., but these rods are AWESOME!!! A must buy! 06/18/2012
