Rated 5 out of 5 by TheLadyFair Much prettier than I expected From what I saw in the store, I expected these brown curtains to be dark. Instead, they're nearly sheer and let in a good amount of light. They're beautiful, and they look great in my living room. I get a lot of compliments on them. I love the large grommets. My only complaint about these curtains is that they have some imperfections in the fabric that stands out when the light is coming in. Still, I'd recommend them to anyone. I'll be buying more of these. 09/29/2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by SEEKINGONE Elegant, simple and inexpensive These are not blackout or thermal panels. They are a lovely jacquard weave pattern of diamond shapes that hangs beautifully and allows the incoming light to be nicely filtered. Some of the diamond shapes are loosely woven and open alternating with others that are thick,dense and slightly shiny like silk. They create dappled light in the room when the sun is shining in the windows and I no longer have to walk into a dark room and instantly turn on the light in the middle of the day. Since they are so inexpensive, I bought 3 panels for a double window, and each panel is 54" wide so 3 panels on a 66" wide double window looks very full and rich. I put the Ivory color panels on a dark brown 1" (60"-120" long) rod also from my local WalMart and they look very elegant together. I liked that look so well in my bedroom, that I bought 3 more panels for the guest room just before my sister visited and she loved them too.Before I hung them, I put them in the dryer on medium with a wet wash cloth for 20 minutes, and they looked like I had steam ironed them so I know that when they need to be taken down and washed, they well come out ready to hang back up immediately. I have had some very expensive drapes over the years, and I like these better than any I have ever had. Simple, elegant and cheaply priced! How can you beat that? 05/26/2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by ktec2010 Very thin! I bought these curtains thinking they were pretty heavy, but when I got them home they are VERY thin. I bought them because the front of our house faces west, so in the summer evenings our living room gets VERY hot. I thought these would be a lot thicker and more like blackout curtains (kind of disappointing.)They are very pretty though! They allow some light to enter while still giving you privacy. 03/27/2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Ramandeep Too Thin I bought these curtains online as they looked too good in the picture.When I actually hung these in the bedroom window,I could not even see the self print on the curtains.The fabric is too thin and let too much light into the room.If you are looking to darken your room, this is definitely not a good choice. 03/07/2012
