I just followed the advice of one of the previous reviewers and used a screwdriver to line up the holes. I am extremely happy with this chaise. It is very comfortable and looks great on the deck! Have not had any issues with the cushions wanting to slide off. I recommend home delivery as the box is big (as expected). I would definitely recommend this to others!! Rated 4 out of 5 by Floridasummer Good product but inconsistent quality I bought two similar Better Homes and Garden Chaise lounges 3 years ago and they were easy to assemble and still look great. I decided to get 2 more as we expanded our pool area. We had to take one of them back as the holes did not line up with the screws. We got a replacement and had no trouble. I woudl recommend this as once you get it together, it is very comfortable and really looks much more expensive 05/11/2013
