Beautiful, sturdy and 10 mins to put together

Be aware the color is not crisp white, but a creamy off white, very pretty. The table did not fit in my toyota corolla, had to put on top of car, tie it down tight and drive slowly home. Highly recommend it. If you're a lady, you definitely need either a strong big guy to pickup or else another lady... very heavy. Solid.

    Great Table

If I could give this product more than 5 stars I would. It is a beautiful table and very study. I have two young children and they broke the drop leaf table we were using, but I can see this one holding up for years! Pay attention to the meassurment though because it is a lot bigger than it looks on the picture.

I am active duty Army and have five children ranging from 24 years old to 2 years old. I have had this table for almost 10 years now. The table has "taken a beating" but, is still beautiful and sturdy and was easy to put together. Now, the chairs needs replacing because of normal wear and tear after all these years but, overall it's an excellent set to have.

Hi, was hoping I could get some info as a "deciding factor" between the black or white colors of the Autumn Lane collection. I love the set, especially the bench, and I'm leaning towards the natural oak color to brighten things as much as possible. However, I have a very active 5 year old, and am concerned about stains, scuffing, ect, and I have not been a huge fan of white. However, the set is beautiful and I would rather have the lighter color. Could anyone provide feedback on if white with a small, energetic child may cause those issues, and also, if the white looks sturdy and elegant enough without chipping or looking cheap? Thanks so much in advance.

    • The white painted surface appears durable and easy to clean. The top is natural wood and will absorb spills, stains and heat, So, maybe a lined vinyl tablecloth?

    • Hi, I hope my answer helps. I have a 6 years old and a TODDLER! LOL a very active 2 years old and both kids are very messy. Let me tell you my recommendation: if you decide to buy this, get a beautiful table cover, and a plastic cover as well to protect the table cover, since this are long and they will cover a little bit of the legs too, I did that and it is working perfectly. The white color looks really elegant, nothing chip, and the top is shinny. It is new for us, so I can't tell if it will stain or have any scuffing but.. so far so good. :)

    • Very stain resistant. I would say a magic marker might be a problem. It doesn't chip easily and clean up is simple even the white legs. It is very sturdy and will not break if a child climbs on it. And in the future you can always take the legs off and spray paint them if you tire of the white. Other than gouging it with a sharp instrument it is very resistant to wear and tear. I honestly believe if you got a bad stain you could do a light dsanding, bleach the spot and add some polyurethane. Not a good fix but a doable one.

    • I happen to have both the white and black tables (and the coordinating benches). I do like the white much better, as it does in fact look more elegant, not cheap at all. The black is beautiful too, but it is a more formal look, in my opinion. Because only the legs are white, I don't think you would have a problem with a small child in the house. Overall, it seems pretty sturdy and is not difficult to keep clean. We live in an old house with an open kitchen with exposed brick floors and a large window overlooking the backyard, and the white table and bench look absolutely lovely in there.

    • The white is fine with our kids. This table top scratches easily, though.
