    Got the grill today and returned it an hour later . The grill was so damaged that it couldn't be assembled . I should have known when I came home and seen the box damaged and taped up . I reordered , but this time I choose store delivery .

    Hi Texasgrirl, Robert from Nexgrill here. I am so sorry the delivery service damaged the box and grill. We strive to have superior packaging to avoid these issues, but these extreme cases where the box has been abused are very disappointing and unavoidable. Please accept our apology.     We have had this grill for 2 years.. which by some accounts may seem like a long time, but if I'm gonna pay well over $200 for a grill, which I consider to be an appliance, I expect it to LAST!! I have had other "appliances" that I paid far less for last for YEARS!! But besides that, I have had GRILLS last for YEARS!! we take care of it and clean it, however we have already replaced the 5 heat plates TWICE!, the igniter switch on the side burner no longer will light the burner, we have to use an external lighter. IN addition now, the whole bottom drip pan has rusted away and completely disintegrated. When this tray fell off, the draft is too much and now the grill won't stay lit at all!!! We use our grill YEAR round, and depend on it for cooking some meal almost weekly, and in the summer time use it for most meals!! I expected WAY better from this brand. Char broil grills we have had in the past have lasted for ALOT longer. WIll NOT buy this brand of grill again!

    Received package on time as promised. However FedEx dumped it in the middle of my driveway ... I was home at the time, there was no knock on the door or notice that it had been delivered ! If my daughter hadn't of came over and told me I had a box in the middle of my driveway I would of never known it was here. The box was damaged , too heavy for me to lift ( had to call someone to help move it ) & the box literally fell apart when lifted. Of course the box had pictures of the grill all over it, so it screamed "take me" in my driveway ! When my husband started taking pieces out to assemble the main unit had major damage It was to be his :fathers day " gift...so back to the store it went ! Reordered & am having it sent to the store for pick up. Hopefully it will arrive with no issues (will be opening it there to inspect ) . Walmart should rethink who delivers their products ! U.P.S does a much better job !

    We have had this grill for right at a year. On the 4th of July we were finishing off some ribs that we had slow cooked in the oven . They had been on for about 10 minutes on low in the top shelf with the lid closed. My husband had gone inside for just a couple of minutes to get some sauce ready. When he came back outside he noticed the grill had quit like it was out of gas. When he opened it up, the ribs inside had turned to cinders, complete charred dust. Even the bones were ash! Later he realized that we still had gas and there was no way to get the grill to work again! We are not sure if there is any way to get any kind of refund on this as it has been a year, but seriously this should never have happened and especially after only a year! My husband has been grilling for years and I know he did not abuse this grill or anything he cooked on it! Maybe we got one with a rare defect, but from our experience I would not recommend

    We recently purchased this grill and after putting it together, noticed that the thermostat gauge was broken. It looked like someone had pulled it off damaging the hood and stretching out the wire coming from the gauge. We called the number on the grill and was told that since it was within 30 days of the purchase, they would waive the shipping and handling, like they were doing us a favor. They also advised that the thermostat gauge was on back order and would be in, in about 4-6 weeks. We returned the grill to Walmart, drove to Lowe's and got a much nicer grill for about $30 more.. This grill is not worth it..
