Customer Product Reviews

Rated 4.8 out of 5★ by 34reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5★ by Baby yarn This yarn is very soft and fluffy. The only down side is that the yarn has knots where they may have run out while the machine was running. They do not match the colors, so if you are going for a specific pattern in your blanket, it will cause a problem. 01/09/2013
Rated 4 out of 5★ by This is sooo soft. I knitted a baby hoodie, beanie & a baby cocoon with this one ball of yarn, they are very cute. 10/10/2012
Rated 5 out of 5★ by perfect yarn for a blanket I buy this yarn and it makes the perfect blanket for all ages. I just wish there were other colors besides just pastels 11/15/2012
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Very soft and thick. This is a very nice yarn. It's soft and thick, so it works up fast. The only thing about it is that the blanket comes out kind of heavy for a baby, but it's nice and warm. 01/14/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Making a baby blanket I liked this yarn because it's so nice warm and thick. I would consider myself an intermediate beginner. I was going to use a seed stitch but I didn't like the way it looked. Or felt when I was crocheting with it. It's going to be a gift so I wanted it to look nice. I decided a single crochet after looking around on the internet would be best and I do like how it's shaping up. I also used a M crochet hook. If you want a good sized blanket I would suggest using at least 2 skeins. 11/29/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Very soft, very thick I bought this yarn to make a blanket for the twins my daughter is expecting. I expected it to be a bulky yarn, but it was even thicker than I expected. I decided that it would be too thick to use as a blanket to wrap the babies in, but would be perfect to make a floor blanket (one they could lay on to play before they start crawling). It's coming along nicely. I just wish it came in some adult colors because now I'd like some leg warmers and a scarf in this! It's very very soft and snuggly and quite warm. 04/29/2014
Rated 5 out of 5★ by So Soft I made afghans for family members, both young and old, and everyone loves the softness and feel of this yarn. I used a large size Q hook from Walmart which was great for this size of yarn. 08/20/2013
Rated 3 out of 5 Not my favorite I got this yarn because I needed a super bulky weight yarn for a baby blanket I'm crocheting, and everyone seems to love this yarn. It was sold out all over town, so I finally ended up ordering it from here. My order arrived very quickly, which I was happy about. However, I don't think I'll ever use this yarn again. It doesn't glide easily through my fingers, making it very difficult to maintain a nice tension (I finally had to rip out my work and go up a hook size because it was just too stiff no matter how loosely I tried to crochet). Also, this yarn I feel like will be TOO warm for a baby, plus since its acrylic it doesn't breathe, so I'm thinking this blanket will probably end up being used as a tummy time mat more than a blanket. I wish there were more affordable soft cotton yarn options that I could use for baby blankets, but most aren't very nice feeling and the ones that are, are too expensive. 05/12/2013
