Rated 5 out of 5 by nighthawk007 This scope really surprised me. It actually does what the info claims. It does not have cross hairs,however it has a rail for mounting a laser for aiming. I took a chance on this scope even though it did not have any reviews, I am glad I did. Focus is really good. Turn the ring on the front to get close, then turn the eye piece to get really sharp. 12/18/2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by DerrickJ955 Not worth it! I'm not sure how they state 200+ yards of viewing. I couldn't see more than 50 feet with this thing. It's cheaply built- you could tell it was a regular product they'd modified with a rail on the side. The front piece nearly fell off and the power buttons were terrible. 02/05/2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by lasers2u Great performance for the money! For the money, this scope works very well. True, a Gen 2 or higher would totally blow this away, but you're just not going to get it for this price. I am happy with this choice and can readily use it to target in the dark at 50 yards. I have not had the chance at longer distances. While it is usable in NV mode alone, it really helps to use the attached IR illuminator. My only complaint is that with illumination on, your eye really gets used to the brightness and when you look away from the scope you're a little blinded until your eye readjusts. I wonder if a Gen 2 without illumination would be a better solution, but then again, at what cost?!It would be nice if the magnification was adjustable vs. fixed but that's another tradeoff. For instance, you might get more flexibility with a zero magnification NV and a separate scope for distance.Overall, I find the quality of the optics and construction very good. I have had no issues at all and would buy this again. 02/17/2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by JustAnotherGuyInWa great value for the price This "scope" is simply a night vision monocular... no crosshairs no way to adjust the view to enhance accuracy when mounted. It is a fairly durable rubber coated but the device itself is not amazingly well made. My device will tuturn on but it will not turn off via the power button very often. Most of the time I have to point it at a bright light for it to shut off via the dirdct sun auto shut off device. I did however discover that my devicd will operate without batteries as long as they are inserted when I turn it on. I have not yet tested to see how long it will operate but I do know the IR will not turn on without the batteries. Overall if your looking to hsve NV and are not looking to spend a grwat deal of money this is a great deal. Its quality of night vision is quite good atleast for about the 200YDS it says. Do not get me wrong it is not amazing but for the price you pay it is a great value price/quality. 03/15/2013
