Exactly What I Needed I'm in an apartment with an internet connection in the bedroom and the livingroom. I've had my computer in the bedroom for years, but since I got a new flat screen television with so many connection choices, I wanted to do the computer through the television in the livingroom. So now I can. It's great for having club meetings that require computer programs and internet connection on a larger screen that a group can view. Works great I was concerned about purchasing this cable because of some of the reviews. It is advertised as a 15 pin, but really only has 14 pins. So I googled it to find out the difference between the two and apparently some tvs must have the true 15 pin cable? Anyway bottom line is I decided I would try it and if it didn't work I could take it back. I have a 46" LCD Sony Bravia and I connected it to my Toshiba laptop and it works perfect. 02/22/2012
only14 of 15 pins My cable arrived, I was thrilled until I installed it and got only a very blue image. I know it is this VGA cable (which I noticed later had only 14 pins, missing the same one on both ends) with audio cables because my other VGA cable (with 15 pins and no audio) gave a perfect image.I will return and hope to receive one with 15 pins on both ends.I trust this will exchange will resolve the issue, else I will get a refund. 12/10/2011
