    Belkin Easy Transfer Cable for Windows Vista 3.5 5 15 17
    On the website The website did not state it was for Vista, I needed it for XP to Windows 7. 09/18/2010
    false advertising The purpose of this purchase was to transfer data between a computer with a windows XP operating system and a computer with a Windows Vista operating system. After following all instructions, I found the system did not transfer the files as promised. Subsequently I found their was a problem with the Microsoft Windows Easy Transfer Program and that the process will not work. The disclaimer on the Belkin package states no refunds but will replace the unit. But a replacement will only give the same results. Since Belkin states this device specifically states it is used for this function I find that I am out $35.15 wirh apparently no recourse. 10/27/2009
    Did what I needed.... It was much easier to use this cable than use a USB Flash Drive or DVD's but I did not like how it transfers everything and puts it into one folder on your new computer. Then it is up to you to separate it. I also did not like where it only allowed you to click on "My Documents" or "My Pictures" it DID NOT allow me to go through and choose just certain pictures or certain documents it was either the entire thing or nothing.Overall, it was faster but if I had to do it again I would probably just buy 2 or 3 large USB flash drives so I could choose just the things I wanted to transfer and not the other stuff. 12/10/2008
