The BEHRINGER MS16 is a compact 2-way stereo speaker system for home studio or multimedia applications and instrument or vocal monitoring. Two high-power amplifiers drive the 4-inch woofers and the high-resolution tweeters. The front-mounted volume control and individual bass and treble controls make accurate sound adjustments a breeze. Two stereo line inputs (RCA and eighth-inch TRS) allow simultaneous use of two stereo sources, so you can play back CDs, MDs or MP3s and use an electric guitar/keyboard at the same time. In addition, the quarter-inch TRS microphone input lets you mix vocals with a stereo track. Magnetic shielding and compact size make these speakers perfect for placement near video monitors or computer displays.

Decent sound & amplification, and affordable price I shopped and shopped and shopped online for a pair of powered speakers my son could use with his new Vestaxx Typhoon DJ mixing & effects deck. Most speakers are SO expensive, just STARTING at $200 for only one speaker. Once I saw that Behringer was a good line of speakers, I found this pair for just $75 plus tax. It's not what a real DJ would need, obviously, but it's good enough for his needs while he learns some skills on the Typhoon. Excellent amplification and decent sound come out of these babies. 01/20/2011
Good quality for the money. I wanted a set of speakers to enhance the sound of my tinny sounding small flat screen TV in the bedroom. No, the bass won't rattle the windows, but the overall sound quality was excellent. The cases are sturdy and have a decent heavy feel. they also work well with my Sansa media player. By tweaking the relationship between the volume of the speakers and the volume of the player I was able to eliminate any sound distortion/static. They would be great for playing movies/music on a laptop! 01/09/2012
Nice clean sound - good for vocals Small speakers mean a bit weak in bass tones, but overall these do the job. I will be using them as monitors for the drummer, guitarist and soloists at our shows at the high school. 04/11/2012
