Rated 2 out of 5★ by Jim Good-looking piece but BEWARE of rattles What attracted me to this piece, besides its appearance, was the relatively tall height (36" most stands in my opinion are too low), width (60" to match a wall-mounted plasma of the same width), color to match tv, and depth of only 20" so as not to consume too much space out from the wall. Also, the internal dimensions were perfect to accommodate all my home theater equipment.Assembly was a breeze and I disagree with the prior reviews that claim of its difficulty. If you've ever assembled furniture (computer desks, book shelves, etc.) with the cam-lock design, this piece went together easily.HOWEVER, the back panels fit loosely into slots in the base, top, and side pieces and made a vibrating "buzz" every time my Bose subwoofer produced heavy bass sounds during explosions, etc. In fact, I could reproduce the buzz simply by lightly tapping any of the panels. I had to remove all the equipment inside, partially disassemble the credenza and reinforce all the back panel slots, as well as the underside of the top, with thin sheets of black foam and/or black felt to stop the annoying buzzing. Also, the flimsy bottom rear middle panel had to be braced with rigid foam-lined boards that I crafted and painted to match the credenza, plus metal fastening brackets, to stop the vibration problems. I had to use numerous small wood screws to fasten the panel from inside to the reinforcement board I attached to the back of the unit. While this piece looks great and is now sturdy, I can't believe the manufacturer would not have tested it in the presence of a subwoofer, since I suspect most people probably use it in conjunction with home theater equipment. The reinforcing modifications were a royal pain. This was a design flaw that should NOT have been overlooked. If you purchase this unit, go ahead and buy thin black foam sheets and felt to line the panels/slots as you are building it. 09/28/2009
Rated 4 out of 5★ by vvo2max Tough Assembly But Excellent Look I bought this as my primary entertainment center. I love the look...it looks high-end and a lot more expensive. I like the solid side doors to hide DVDs, CDs, etc. There's actually quite a bit of storage in there! The middle glass doors allow me to store my DVD and DVR dust free but still access with a remote. It is really heavy and seems very sturdy. However, it was NOT easy to put together! I'm pretty handy and follow directions well, but this took me 4 hours to assemble. I had to pull out a few of the little wooden pegs because the holes would NOT line up. Bottom Line: If you're willing to spend time, effort and PATIENCE to assemble, you will be happy with the result. 05/26/2009
Rated 1 out of 5★ by Nelle cheap screws, couldnt keep parts 2gether The design is great. wood is heavy the nails and pieces supplied were flimsy. they broke soon as i started screwing them in (im a woman... i hadnt even gotten to tightening up yet) horrible disappointment. and the doors supplied were wrong. one side fit but the door on the left had the hole drilled in on the wrong side. i had to get my drill and do it myself to add my knob. not happy at all. 2nd product from them. had no problems with the fist one. you get what you pay for and that was not the case this time. i expected better supplies... 03/24/2009
Rated 2 out of 5★ by montana girl Attractive looking but awful assembly I am pleased with the overall look, very stylish and attractive. However, the hardware was SO cheap it all broke. Had to go to hardware store and purchase all new cam locks. VERY FRUSTRATING!!Was not impressed at all, would not buy from them again. 03/01/2009

Rated 5 out of 5★ by Sunnydelight004 Great entertainment center!! We love this entertainment center. A couple of the hinges on the doors weren't exactly in the right spot so we moved them but other than that this was easy to put together and looks beautiful! 12/08/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by AmarantheBlooms Piece of Cake We ordered the Bedford TV Console for our 57" TV and it fits perfectly. In the picture the stand looks more like a flat paint and ours was actually more a gloss, although not so glossy that it looks cheap. The product arrived in two boxes with excellent packaging. The product is surrounded by thick Styrofoam and each piece is individually wrapped with a styrowrap. We had no damage. The instructions were clear and concise and all our hardware was in the individual pack with extra pieces as listed. The hardware was fine and didn't appear to be cheaply made at all as some ratings had noted. All in all it was a breeze to put together. We almost didn't purchase this stand because the reviews mentioned how horrible assemble turned out and that the pieces didn't align, etc... I can honestly say this was one of the easiest pieces of furniture we have ever assembled. It took my husband and I #tag teaming# about 1.5 - 2 hours to assemble. About a half hour of that time was spent unwrapping each individual piece from the styrowrap and laying out the pieces in order. All our holes lined up appropriately and each piece fit solidly in place. The only thing I would agree with in a previous review was the paneling in the back of the stand. It does rattle a bit, but it also slides into place like butter. I solved the problem by using toothpick tips as shims to keep it from vibrating and it was a quick easy fix... no more noise! We bought this stand on sale and feel it was a great value. Its a good purchase for someone who wants a higher quality looking console without spending the $$ for a solid wood console from a furniture store. 12/08/2013
