My husband was having taking a shower - he kept falling. I bought this stool so now he can sit and shower and hasn't fallen since. I put it together without even a screwdriver. Went together so easy and fits great in the bathtub. When I take a shower I just lay the stool down and I have plenty of room to stand between the legs without taking it out So far I haven't noticed any rust on the screws that I had read about with other bath stools. Very satisfied with ordering it online from Walmart.

This product is the lowest priced bath seat I could find. But it's also the largest, easiest to put together, multi-purpose bath chair ever! I purchased it as I came home from an extended hospital stay, now that I can stand to shower, it now serves as an excellent chair for bathing our large dog as each leg is adjustable we put 2 legs in the tub & 2 legs out. It's very stable, I use it as a makeup chair also. Super deal, don't hesitate!

After extensive research into shower seats and benches, I found that Walmart provided the best product at the best price. I am completely satisfied with the description, durability, function and price. I need the seat for a disability, but anyone who showers can use this handy seat which folds to store out of the way. If you have an elderly, frail or post-operative relative, what an inexpensive gift they didn't know they couldn't live without until they received it from you. It's a tiny investment in health and safety.

This chair is adaptable to various heights. Rubber cups on bottom help stablize it to bottom of the shower. Is an excellent buy, especially considering those at "home health care stores" which cost much more, probably due to insurance coverage expectations. Am thoroughly satisfied with the purchase and the speed of getting it delivered to my store for pick-up.

    • A. No, this chair does not folder. Approx. dimensions are hard to say since the stool has adjustable leg heights. However, width might be close to 1 feet where as the length might be over 2 feet.

    • A. Depending where you have set the leg height will determine the distance between the legs. When fully extended the distance between the front legs and back legs are 18.0 inches wide and the distance from the front to back legs is 19.5 inches wide. Where I have mine set at, the distance from front leg to front leg as well as back leg to back leg is 17.5 inches. The distance from front leg to back leg is 18.0 inches. Hope this helps.
