WORTH THE PRICE YOU PAY I needed a locking cabinet to keep my son from constantly scattering DVDs everywhere. This is a good buy for the price, but it came in a million pieces that felt kind of cheap--particularly the shelves that go on the doors. The instructions were hard to follow and it took us about 3-4 hours to finally get it all together! However, once assembled it does it's job and it looks nice with the rest of our furniture. My fiance griped the whole time while putting it together, but I think he is satisfied now! Just be sure to set aside enough time to get it together! 03/24/2010
great for little fingers! I originally got this item because of my 1 1/2yr old daughter. She loves getting into the movies and throwing them everywhere! The product isn't necessarily hard to put together but does have a lot of pieces. Once you get the hang of what your doing it's really easy. I was worried about the material because it's not very spendy but was suprised that it is very sturdy. And it holds a lot of movies!The only problem I had with the item was that when u close the door and lock it, and take the key out, the door comes back open a little. Not enought to stick anything threw or anything. Its not a big factor it's still a great product in my opinionGood luck! 10/20/2009
Great! Bought this because we needed something to keep our twin toddlers away from our movie collection. After reading some of these reviews we still bought it and now that it's all together I'm wondering if some people assembled it wrong, because when the cabinet is locked the door next to it does not open, because of a small metal plate that screws into the door opposite the locking door and that keeps it from opening. All in all, we love it. It holds a ton of movies. I wish the plastic part of the shelves on the door were a little thicker, but definitely worth the money. Looks great and the handles are a really nice touch. 01/07/2012
