My 6 year old daughter wanted this for Christmas. I ordered on-line and luckily got home before my kids that day. The box was labeled "Barbie Camper" in large letters across the outside. My daughter can read, so that would have ruined the Christmas surprise.She loves everything about the camper. If you want a fast reveal, I recommend you open the gift and put it together and then put it back in the box before your kid opens it. Between taking the tape off and putting on all the stickers, it took at least an hour. Some of the parts are somewhat fragile--our daughter broke a small piece of the hammock. We had to super-glue it together.Overall, I would recommend it, just trying to manage expectations. 12/27/2011
Just ok Has alot of little pieces and stickers and packing tape as all Barbie merchandise does. (irritating) I would say it compares to all the other Barbie stuff. It is overpriced. I would only buy it for a special occasion and if your child really, really wants it as we did for Christmas. The doors, bed/seat etc. fall off or apart (not broken, just come off their hinges). But, my daughters love it. They play with it over and over. I just continue to put the doors etc. back together when they holler "Mom, the door fell off again." 12/27/2011
overpriced but my daughter loves it This Barbie camper is all my 8 yr old daughter wanted for Christmas. She does love it and plays with it a lot. The quality is just ok. The pop up top and closing doors all seem kind of flimsy to me. I'm sure her little brothers will break it in no time. Lots of super tiny accessories. The cost was close to $70 which is crazy for the quality of product. I'm only giving it 4 stars bc my daughter really does love it and has no issues w/the quality of it. 12/27/2011
