Fun in the sun The kids had fun with it for a couple weeks so far. The lawn must be level or the water will flow to the low end. Once the pool is full, you can turn off the water. I like the design with filling the sides with water instead of air. I think this would keep it from tearing and the unit moving. Once the water is full, it can't be moved, so make sure you find the perfect spot to put it! Have fun and enjoy!! 08/28/2008
great slide! This slide is great used as a slip-n-slide, especially if you do not have a level yard, does not work with board if yard is not level, we wanted a long, wide slip-n-slide and this works great that way on a slight hill, just remove from grass daily or grass will turn brown! Very disappointed with purchase. Bumper must be filled with water and the water was leaking out of one of the seams prior to our first use. You must use this on EXTREMELY LEVEL ground or it will not work. We thought we had this on level ground, but we were unable to fill the entire skimming area with water. This worked great as a slip and slide and the skimboard worked well as a boogie board, but we were unable to use it as you see in the pictures and advertisements. We returned this product the next day. Save your money - buy a slip and slide! 05/09/2008
An extra wide slide-n-slide I purchased this product online for a great clearance price of $27.00! I read all the reviews, mostly negative. So I wasn’t expecting much more than the performance I got out of it. We knew the backyard wasn’t 100% flat, so the chance the kids would be able to surf like the video showed were small. The price was great. So what the heck- give it a try!The kids age ranges were from 6 to 14. If they actually got to surf the water it was a younger less weight child. Not the teens. No one was able to stand up and surf pass half the length of it without falling or jumping off and if they fell....they fell hard. I understand completely why they say no driveways, sidewalks, hard surfaces...etc.However I could see this working with practice and on flat ground. After several falls the kids decided to just run and slide on it. It worked great! We hosted a birthday party so it worked out perfect with this, the Banzi Inflatable and also an Intex pool...I would recommend this to anyone for the price I paid. I can’t really say that I would be pleased paying full price for it though. 05/24/2009
