  • A. Yes, it needs to remain wet in order for the kids to slide on it.

  • A. Yes, as the slide needs to be wet for proper operation. It's possible to use without the hose but I'm nor sure how well it would work.

  • A. Yes it does. Even with the water hose constantly wetting the slide, it still wasn't really slick enough for the kids to go down....

  • A. No, but it does make sliding a little easier. I suggest a little light cooking or suntan oil and save the water.

  • A. NO. I tried using a manual pump but that was taking forever. I ended up buying a camping pump that plugs in my car. Make sure the pump you use has small adapters.

  • A. No air pump. And its kind of hard to inflate with an airpump because most of the nozzles are a bit bigger than the hole. An air pump will inflate it though, you just have to really push it in there.

  • A. Our boys keep the water splashed out, the pool area connects to slide with velcro so I think water could leak out. Probably difficult to keep pool area "filled" with water, but with the hose connected to keep slide wet with the sprinkler portion of the slide there is water to splash into. If it stayed filled, maybe 5-6 inches.

I got this splash pool for my 3 year old son. He loves it, i have a few complaints...one is that the part that attaches the slide to the pool is made of velcro and obviously..after a short time water ruins velcro. it would make much more sense to me if it were made of metal snaps or if it were one whole piece. also within the first week the pool got a hole in it and the patch kit that comes with it doesnt stay on for long, so luckily i have an air compressor at home, but it does get aggravating having to put air into it 2 times a day so that it doesnt start getting flat while he is playing in it. also the part that attaches the hose to the waterslide is just a skrew in thing and half the water sprays out the attachment and half into the little holes. so, i guess for thirty dollars you kind of expect it not to be great, but i did expect it to at least last through the first summer. if it were more than that i would definantly be mad.

My kids LOVE this slide/pool. Soo much fun for them, they are 2 and almost 4. They both can go down the slide no problem. It is a little tougher for my smaller one to get up on the slide since it has no kind of steps or anything, but a little stool at the slide works great for her. They had so much fun using this at my daughter's 2nd birthday party. All the kids loved playing on the slide. It was a big hit!

I read the reviews before I made my purchase so I knew that we were risking holes and perhaps a short life but I decided to take that risk. Overall I am happy. We have used it twice with 5 children aging from 10 to 3. The raft already has a hole on the seam and the center section of the ramp also has a hole in a seam but it holds a lot of air and my heaviest daughter was lounging on it so the damage may not be unexpected. What bugs me... 1. the interface between the two units (the pool and the ramp). I was hoping that it would be a slight water saver compared to letting the hose run full bore on our slide. I pictrued the water from the ramp emptying into the pool...well, it doesen't. The ramp and pool attach with this narrow piece of vinyl that is not wide enough to allow the water from the ramp to drain into the pool. It pours on to the grass. 2. There is a real lack if support where the hose attaches to the side of the ramp. The weight of the hose pulls that side out of alignment and causes it to spray across our yard, not on the ramp. I am constantly afraid the hose attachment is going to pull out of the side of the ramp. All in all, I didn't pay very much and if it gives me a few hours to my self during this busy summer I am satisfied. I am going to invest in a goof vinyl patch kit and hope for the best.

We bought this slide today and were extremely disappointed. The slide comes in two separate pieces that velcro together that we could not keep together. The water runs down the orange portion and then into the grass and doesn't fill up the pool portion.

I bought this for my 5 year old nephew and he absolutely loves it!!! He plays on this slide for hours. He can't get enough of it! This was money well spent. My 11 year old cousin even said he had fun sliding on it. Make sure that you get an air pump to pump up this slide. It took me atleast 30-40 minutes to blow up the slide with a battery operated air pump. Cons: A con is that the slide has 2 parts:the ramp & pool. The ramp comes apart from the pool alot (especially if you have wild little boys being daredevils on the ramp) so you have to make sure that the two stay together. Another con is this slide uses ALOT of water. The hose has to continuously run so the kids can slide smoothly down the ramp.
