Mounted the desk today, couldn't be happier with it. The only thing I would ask to be changed on this item is to have the instructions a bit more clear than they were.

I live in a 9x9 room so anything that utilizes small space technology gets an A in my book. Not only does this desk do just that, it looks great! The quality seems fantastic and I love the use of the inside with the peg board and the various organizer slots.

Perfect Small Space Furniture

Very pleased with this purchase.  Grandson really loves it and wants it down/open all the time.  When company comes for overnight...he puts it away easlily on the wall.

Extremely well built

This is a great desk. It folds up neatly out of the way. I use this as a sewing desk and keep thread, scissors and other sewing essentials in it.

LOVE IT!

This desk is perfect for our small third bedroom that we want my husband to be able to use as a laptop work desk when he is at home.  I installed it myself (female, 53 years old).  It was a bit hard to do mainly to the weight of it (which is a good point that it is well built), but I managed to do it by taking off the foldout part before hanging and then reinstalling it.  My only problem is where the hinge is on the leg that comes down to the floor.  It came bent from what I can tell because the first time I tried to put the leg back up, the hinge folded the wrong way.  I took a pair of channel locks and was able to bend it enough that I could get it to halfway work.  I have called the company's customer service and had to leave a voicemail.  I have not heard back from them so not sure if the problem will get resolved or not, I sure hope so as I really like it and I'm not sure if I can find a replacement hinge that will work.

This was used in a small room.  Perfect for that Attractive wood and look.  Latch did not line up but did still hold it closed.  Costumer service took care of the problem quickly.  Love the item Be aware that the information did not state that it need to be hung at a certain level.  57 inches from the ground I believe.

A unique desk, great space saver,

I like it. It's strong & sturdy. But the legs have a piece in the center. Not like the cut legs shown in the picture.

New desktop

My desk was delivered quickly with efficient packaging. It's heavy and you need to anchor it properly - plenty of instruction is provided. The inside storage options are bigger than I expected, and that's a plus! The walnut stain is much darker than the photos show, but I am not returning it, I'll make it work. The height of the table when extended, is perfect for my office chair and it is so easy to open and close. How nice to be able to close it and hide my office 'clutter'! I know the description stated the content of materials  - so don't expect solid wood - it is not. The basic board construction is done well and seams are tight, yet I am sure the veneer will damage easily if not used with care. When I ran my hand over all surfaces, trying to determine the level of quality, I found where there is a lack of glue on a top edge of veneer - it lifted and snapped back. That is unfortunate....and is why I gave it only 3 stars, and some wood glue of my own!! For the price, I will enjoy the 'fold-up' convenience, while being kind to the construction - I am the only one using it, so it should last me a long time!

It is hard to say if I would buy it again. We'll see.

I ordered this in the antique white color, thinking it would be painted wood (or painted wood laminate). The brand was Southern Enterprises, not Bandera. The color was fine, since I wasn't expecting and didn't want pure white. But it was a laminate, and not a wood laminate - you could tell at the edges and corners that it was some kind of formica or plastic. I didn't even fully open it up so I can't speak to how it works or how easy/hard it is to mount. It's possible that the walnut finish might be less obviously not wood; other reviewers on this and other websites seem to think so, but if you want something that looks a lot like wood avoid the white finish.
