Rated 1 out of 5 by 3051 Falls apart QUICK This couch was fine for the first month or two, but after about three months of average use (I live alone, so very little traffic) it started to fall apart. Now, a year later, the cushion is completely ruined and the springs stick out and it is uncomfortable to sit on. All of the good reviews on this product are from when the product was new to the customer. Buyer beware! 07/24/2011

Three months have passed and i'm not so pleased with it anymore. The cushions flattened out, the brackets broke and the material wore out very quickly. Rated 5 out of 5 by Librarian41 Great Surprise! Wanting to keep the 3rd bedrm as a dual purpose room, I shopped for futons, then remembered this type of sofa from my childhood. When I found it online, read the reviews, compared it to the failures I'd seen up close and online....I was sold. I could return it if it wasn't what I wanted...it was on sale and it met my needs perfectly. When it came I was amazed and proud that at 68 yrs. old, I could put it together in about an hour all by myself! I needed help getting the container to the inside of our home, but once there...it was easy until the last 3 pieces. I was heartbroken to find a very deep dent in one of the seat frame pieces. A call to the store next day brought attention to my delima. Walmart's associate called, took my information. Manufacturer called, took my information and express mailed a replacement piece, at no charge and I AM very happy customer who has a lovely sofa (looks like the real thing) with armrests, 2 throw pillows, black velour, extra comfy bed with great innerspring mattress. It was delivered directly to my home, I opened the box in my garage and took the parts into the house bit by bit, and began assembling it all by myself (63 years old). When I got to the installation of the springs, however, the instructions became confusing. I used the illustration as a guide. The directions were fine, but the drawings are TERRIBLE. They make the feet look like they are pointed on the bottom, which they are not, and they lead me to believe my springs were mislabeled and I ended up putting them on backwards causing the conversion from sofa to bed to not operate properly. My guest who was going to use the bed thankfully turned them around, and everything works fine now. Please DO NOT go by the illustrations in the directions. You will be as confused as I was. My guests said the bed was VERY comfortable and it looks absolutely BEAUTIFUL. When I don't have guests, the bed will convert back to a sofa in my "home office". I also purchased the black computer armoire, black leather chair, and 6 ft. artificial bamboo tree, and my office looks very professional and classy and doubles as a beautiful guest room!!!
