Okay Product After reading the other reviews, I was a bit nervous, but I figured--why not try it. With free site-to-store shipping, what do I have to lose?I ordered 2 for my daughters. The smell was minimal, all pieces were intact and labeled. The first step of the directions is drawn wrong, so it was tricky for a few minutes. Once we got past that, they were easy to put together.My problem with them...The pieces, once together, do not match up well--giving it that put-together-yourself-furniture look. There are gaps where each part comes together, and you can't really move the bed around, or it makes them worse. I found similar items on another site--but loved the price of these more. The bed does not come with baskets, and I have had a really hard time finding any that will fit properly.Also, the top of the bed (where the mattress sits), is unfinished and shows around my mattresses. The top of each cubby is unfinished (weird), and the head of the bed is unfinished--so it needs to go against a wall.There are 6 cubbies on each bed. 4 measure 29.5 inches wide by 10.5 inches tall, and 14.75 inches deep. 2 measure 18.25 inches wide, by 10.25-10.5 inches tall, and 14.75 inches deep.It's not a "bad" product, it's just not as nice as the $900 bed I saw on another site--but then again, this didn't cost anywhere near $900. 12/13/2009
great deal... good storage I was scared to order this bed because of reviews saying theirs came damaged and I thought the cubie holes were going to be small. I did anyways and I am very glad that I did. No pieces were damaged and the cubies are good sized. It was very easy to put together. We had it done in about a half hour. Perfect bed for a small room. 01/14/2010
She LOVES it! I had a quite a time trying to get this bed when it was in-stock. I finally called the Badger Company asking when it should be available online again.Directions are a bit vague, but not hard to figure out. I love all the space and for the price it is a really good bed. Looks great and most important, my daughter loves it. 03/25/2008
