Rated 5 out of 5 by Calzack After reading a couple of negative reviews for this beds quality and a few having trouble when putting together and having wood split etc. I weighed out the good ones and the bad. I am so glad I did, as it was a good purchase under $40.00. After watching my husband whiz thru the assembly, I told him I had been worried as per those couple of bad reviews. We both came to the conclusion that they had probably screwed the screws in too tight and split the wood etc. You have to take care and consideration with composite wood but with it is a very nice value for the price. As with any non solid wood construction I would not allow children to be rough and sit on etc. But will serve very well for dolls and bears and such and is cute to boot!!! 12/26/2012

My 7-year-old daughter loves it and has about six dolls sleeping together in it at the moment. Quality seems good (it doesn't look cheap), and was well-priced. Assembly could have been a little less involved, but it wasn't bad. Definitely recommend this product! 11/14/2012
