Excellent quality! GREAT for the oetite parent! Seeing this crib only online I thought it was beautiful in its design but I assumed it was most likely going to be lower quality seeing that the price was so low. I figured I would site to store it and if it wasn't up to par I would immediately return it. I definitely did not have to do that, this is an amazingly robust crib made of beautiful wood.It was very easy for me to put together myself, only a standard screw driver needed beyond that which came in the box. Once together it does not budge a millimeter, nothing short of a sledgehammer could even begin to challenge this things stability.This brand is actually the same product line that is also sold as Davinci - under that trade name the same crib costs over twice as much!On to what I love about this crib, it's height as well as the extra mattress levels! I am 5'4 and the newly standard solid side cribs are all far too tall for me to comfortably lift a babe out of even at the highest bassinet mattress heights and nearly impossible at the lowest mattress setting. This crib while being just as deep and accommodating as any other crib on the market is only 35 inches high where as most new cribs are 43 inches all the way up to 48 tall! This crib has less useless space between the ground and bottom of the crib allowing that awesome feature it also adds to its visual appeal in my opinion. It also has four mattress height levels which is something that I always thought missing in our last crib which only had three.So yes I HIGHLY recommend this crib,it's heirloom quality, amazingly priced and decent thought went into it's design. The only drawback is that it would be impossible to sidecar this crib, so if wanting that option of cosleeping look elsewhere as the legs wouldn't allow a flush joining of the crib and your bed. 04/18/2012
Fantastic and versatile. Any position in the room. This crib is solid, sturdy, and well made. Beautiful finish and a great price. It does not sit very high up and has no dominant side therefore you can position is long ways or side ways against your wall. You can turn it however you need. Paired with the bonus toddler rail and the fact that it converts into a full size headboard make this crib a steal. I bought the white one for my daughter and the dark one for my son.
