Baby Mod - Cadence 4-in-1 Convertible Crib, White 4.7 5 185 192
Crib is very nice I searched FOREVER looking for a nice crib at an affordable price and finally settled on this one. I am very pleased with the purchase. I ordered this on a Saturday and was able to pick it up at our local store by the following Saturday. The box was in good condition as well, a slight concern considering some reviews talked about the damage that occurs during shipping. My husband and I had the crib put together in about 2 hours, but it is definitely a two person job. One person needs to hold the pieces in place while the other tightens the bolts and screws. And while the wood is soft and dents easily (typical of pine), the crib is made of actual wood, not pressboard which is nice. The crib is very sturdy also. It is much more sturdy than some of the others we looked at in the stores with drop sides. So all in all, the crib is beautiful, sturdy, and affordable. All of the qualities I was looking for and I can't wait to put my new son in it. However, I only gave it 4 stars because I never received the shipping confirmation emails from Wal-Mart (not a huge deal as I just logged into their website to check the order status), and because the wood dents easily (again, not a huge deal for a white crib and I expected as much from pine). 02/18/2008
Great crib for the money! I ordered this crib because I wasn't happy with the color of a crib I ordered previously from JCPenney. I was looking for a sturdy, white real wood crib with a straight back for my daughter-to-be's nursery.I didn't know what to expect from this crib, but thought it was a good, moderate price and figured I would get what I pay for. (and with the shipping only being $7 to my house, and a bundle deal that included a free mattress, it was definitely worth ordering). This turned out to be true-- it is an adorable, sturdy crib, however there are the little drawbacks that come with a less expensive crib. Yes, you can see the hardware, however it is sunken, so it still looks nice. We're planning on using a little white paint and a small brush to touch them up and to help make the bolts less visible. (You could avoid this by spray painting the hardware prior to assembly.) Also, the wood is soft, but our crib did not have any dents or knicks, and it was strong enough to dent my wall when I accidentally dropped one of the legs against it. :( It is a nice color-- white and matte. I also like that the front is a little lower than the back, and being that I'm 5'4, it appears to be a nice height to able to pick her up and lay her down easily. My husband and I are very happy with it. The instructions were a little vague (you will have to put together based mostly off the diagrams rather than in depth written instructions), but it went together well, and took us about an hour and a half.Overall, I feel that this is a great value for the money! An adorable crib for a moderate price. 02/06/2010
Before You Assemble Crib looks great but hardware is very noticable. I suggest spraypainting all the screws white BEFORE you put this crib together. Looked way better after doing this! 09/01/2010
Love it! I just purcahsed this crib for my first child and absolutely love it. My husband assembled and he said it didn't take long at all. It's a perfect height for me especially since I'm only 5'3" and most of the other cribs I researched are sooo high, that it would be very hard to reach over the front. It is white in color and very sturdy. 01/30/2008
