Warning Text: Note: We want to remind those with suppressed immune systems and pregnant women that a parasite sometimes found in cat feces can cause toxoplasmosis. Please wash hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter. Please encourage your cats to use an indoor litter box or properly dispose of your cats' outdoor feces to help promote overall water quality. Please dispose of cat litter and any outdoor feces in trash. Do not flush in toilets or dispose of outdoors in gutters or drains. Used litter is not recommended for garden use.

    Directions:

Instructions: Box Set-Up: 1. Snap the side-wall on the grated base. 2. Place a cat pad in the drawer of the breeze litter box. Slide the drawer into the base. 3. Fill the top portion of the breeze litter system with one package of litter pellets. Animal Behaviorists recommend multiple cat households have multiple litter boxes: one system per cat, plus one additional system. (2 cats = 3 litter systems). Easy Maintenance: 1. Scoop out solid waste and dispose of daily. Note: Litter pellets do not clump. 2. Add more litter pellets as necessary. Note: Litter pellets generally last one month. 3. Slide drawer out to replace soiled pad. Drawer can be rotated 180 degrees, without touching the pad, to extend pad life. Note: Breeze Pads generally last up to one week for a single cat. Transitioning Your Cat: For best results, please follow all steps: 1. Place a cat pad, soft side up, in the drawer. Slide the drawer into the base. Fill the top portion of the box with one package of litter pellets. 2. Put stool and/or urine clumps from your previous litter box onto the litter pellets in the Breeze litter box. This helps your cat understand that Breeze is her new litter box. 3. Place the Breeze litter box next to your previous litter box, and let your cat have access to both boxes. Please stop cleaning your previous litter box. 4. After 2-3 days, remove your previous litter box. Dos and Don'ts: Most cats need time to adjusts to the change in their litter. During the transition, please help your cat by observing the following: Do be patient. The Breeze litter box is very different from traditional litters, and some cats may take longer than others to make the switch. Don't force your cat into the Breeze litter box. Let her explore the new box on her own. It's important that your cat chooses to use the new box on her own. forcing her into the Breeze litter box could frighten her, and she may avoid using it altogether. Do set up your new Breeze litter box right next to your previous litter box. Putting your Breeze litter box in the same location helps to minimize the change your cat is experiencing. Don't hover around the Breeze litter box. Give your cat a chance to explore it on her own. Even cats prefer a little privacy when they are doing their business! We know every cat is different.

Im the owner of three cats and was always searching for a good cat box system that was clean/smell free. Sounds impossible with three, I know, however this Breeze System really does the trick! I bought the starter kit to try it out after reading several reviews. My cats all took to it very well right off the bat. They seemed to like the pellets instead of the litter that got everywhere. I was a little bit nervous about the price to use the pellets and pads every month but now after having it for 6 months, it takes the place of buying litter. I was buying litter so often and it really started to add up I like the idea of the pads that absorb the urine because it resolves the smell of litter soaked in it. The pellets make it easy to scoop daily. I change the pad every two days and there is no odor, however the one time I did wait three days I could smell the pad. Its very easy to remove the tray with the pad and dump it into the trash. The pellets can be a little loud when cat is using the box and if they come out of the box onto the floor they really hurt when you step on them! However i will take those two for only having to change the litter once a month! The pellets don't hold any odor and keep it smelling clean.

My daughter-in-law introduced me to this amazing product! My dear kitty cat has been diabetic for 8 years. The scoopable litter was so harmful to his feet. But Breeze keeps his feet clean and bacteria FREE!! I do change the pad more frequently due to his condition(lots of urine), but clean-up is easy and there is no smell. As for solid waste....it dries quickly and is easy to dispose of. The transition period was 3 days, just like the instructions explain. We are very, very pleased with this product. Thank you, glo, Laird and Pia

I had an adult cat that was VERY picky about where she went potty at, and she took to this right away. I love the easy clean up and near odorlessness of the system. It honestly does everything it claims to. I went through a lot of money and time before finally opting for the Tidy Cat Breeze System. I never looked back. However, I have two 6 week old kittens right now and they can't use the system due to their size. This is definitely a litter box meant for 3 month and up cats. For the time being, I am using Desert's Sand litter, but once they are old enough I plan to ease them into the Breeze system. Saves me time, money, and a lot of headaches.

This system is great as long as your cat does NOT get Diarrhea!!! My cat recently had a bad case for the first time and oh what a mess! I had just replaced the pellets when this happened. The pellets were NOT designed to be washed off. I called the company and they could NOT help me. They told me it was not designed for a cat with Diarrhea! I explained that my cat does not always have it, just first case of it and they did NOT know what to tell me. So my advice would be... Buy the system it does work great. If you have more than one cat, do not buy. I would Keep regular litter as a emergency back up just in case your cat gets Diarrhea. Other than that, I give the system 5 stars.

I love this product! My cat used it as soon as I put it back in place. It's like she couldn't wait to try it out. The urine pad is great, a great idea. It really does hold all the odor, even after a week of use it still is undetectable. The litter pellets at first you would think 1 bag for an entire month is not enough but it is. It does stick to the fecal matter only when the fecal matter is still moist but even after 3 weeks of continuous use there is still enough pellets. *Note* If you wait until the fecal matter is completely dried out then the pellets will not stick to it. That would mean you would have to let it sit in there a 2 or 3 days before scooping it out. I learned that after leaving out of town for a few days and came back. All in all there is no smell at all! No mess at all! No continuous scooping/litter refilling at all! I thought about buying one of those expensive self cleaning litter boxes and decided for just one cat this is a better choice. I change the pad once a week, you don't need to change it any sooner then that. I also change the litter once a month you don't need to change it any sooner then that, if so your wasting your money. About the negative comments I have read on here... I believe it depends on your cat & if your patient enough to wait on the drying of the fecal matter. There are cats that are just plain dirty & messy. If your cat kicks up litter then put a cover on the box not only will it save litter and a mess but will also give the cat privacy. If your cat urinates on the sides of the box then make sure you have the white barrier attached to the box. If you have more then one cat and it seems to much for the box/litter/pad to handle buy another one, it's worth it. Last, if the litter sticks to the fecal matter then do as I said and wait till it dries before scopping it out. If you still find this is a bad product then I guess your just way to hard to please and go back to the old litter and box and deal with the mess, smell & aggravation.

I have four cats. One immediately began using it. The others simply refuse -- they're scared of it. I've tried putting the pellets on their regular litter. They don't mind that. It's been nearly four weeks now. What to do?

    • A. Well, it sounds like you are doing what is recommended by Purina to do. The only thing that you may not be doing is stopping the use of the regular litter. With my cat, and I admit I only have 1, I left her regular litter pan in the place it had always been. I placed the Breeze System right next to it. She still used her regular pan, but sniffed the other, went in and out of it. However, as she used her regular pan, and I cleaned it every night, I did not replace the litter. Eventually, there was hardly anything left for her to scratch in, and instinctively (or so it seemed) she went to the other pan. I don't know whether you read on the packaging of the System that it sugests having multiple Systems for households that have multiple cats. If your still in doubt, I suggest contacting the Purina website.

    • A. This is an update on my question of how to get them to use it. I did every thing the manufacturer suggested, even calling them for the help they offered if needed. (They didn't have any other ideas and offered a refund.) I took away the old litter boxes except for one upstairs, but they continued to use it. FINALLY after about 6-7 weeks, one by one I set them in the breeze system, and holding each front paw, I moved them back and forth in a scratching motion. That did it. The three of them began using it. No more of the old litter boxes!

    • A. Even though the directions say that you should take an average of 3 days to a week to transition the cats over to the new litter box, I switched mine out completely on the 2nd day. I could see her eyeing it, not sure exactly what it was, but I think she knew what it was for. So I just took the old one away completely, and she hasn't had any problems using it whatsoever. I would try taking the old litter boxes away, and give them a couple of days. If they still refuse to use it, then I would switch back. But as long as you allow them to have access to their old litter boxes, chances are they'll pick those over the new one.

    • A. Since it is always a good idea to have one extra litter box than number of cats you own, and since several of your cats don't want to use this one I would suggest you keep this one out for the one who does like it. Eventually some of the others might warm up to it, but also keep at least 2 other litter boxes of the regular litter available as well. Basically you have to go with what your cats prefer, not what is easiest for you or they will start going elsewhere and that is never a good thing.

    • A. Since there is no "litter" involved with this System, there is no clumping. There is a pan that has a removable tray in the bottom. An absorbent liner is placed in the tray. This liner is for absorbing urine. Pellets go in the top of the pan for the cat's droppings. A scoop, for removing solid waste, comes with the System. You simply scoop it up and get rid of it.

    • A. No, that is the beauty of the system, because the urine falls through to the bottom pads (saving you litter), and you scoop the poo and only a few bits of litter stick to that. So, you see how you save on the litter (?). Also, I read where a man washed the litter (after the poo was removed) and let it dry a day and he could reuse that.

    • A. No. It is designed that the urine goes down into the compartment that holds the pad and number two stays on top where the pellets are for easy scooping. One thing I found is that the pellets can tend to stick to the number 2 and if you don't clean out the number two on a regular and consistent basis you can sometimes smell it, however I haven't smelled any of that typical amonia smell you get with standard litters, with that I am truly impressed and clean up has been ultra easy. I hope that helps... Have a nice day.
