About this item

Breeze Litter System from Tidy Cats is a new style of cat waste management that's specially designed to control odor with ease. The unique design separates urine from solid waste for outstanding and long-lasting odor control. This cat litter system uses pellets, rather than granules, that are anti-tracking, for a clean home and floors that are distinctively free from residue. It also utilizes a pad to soak up and trap liquids, for superior odor control that lasts up to a week. The pads can be easily replaced using the bottom pull-out, saving you time and effort since you'll need to scoop less. This also means the box stays fresher because there's less waste in the litter itself, so cats stay happy too. The Breeze cat system makes keeping a tidy box and odor-free home a breeze.

Breeze Litter System:

Finally, an easy to use, no mess liter system!

Customer review by CherieM

5.0 stars by CherieM

I have 3 cats and was sick to death of clay and clumping liter making my bathroom feel like I just walked on the beach. This is the first system that eliminates the dust problem. The absorbent pads make cleaning the urine super easy and with little or no gagging due to smell. The pellets are a bonus compared to clumping liters as they don't spread near as far. I live in CA, so often times I don't use air conditioning due to the wonderful weather we have hear. If it is a warm day I recommend running A/C as smell is more noticed in warmer weather. I scoop my cats #2 immediately as everyone should. Cats like a clean liter box and I always keep them clean. It's never a pretty smell whether I'm using clay/clumping or pellets. So no benefit there. However, if left in the box after about 10 minutes the smell does subside considerably. I've read a fair amount of the reviews on this site and most agree with me this is the best system ever! But if you want to leave the waste in the box for days I WOULDN'T recommend this system for you. Stick with your clumping liter so the cat can bury it and help with the long term smell. Lets face it, scooping #2 is never going to be a pleasant experience, we do it because we love our animals. I've owned cats for 15 years and this is heaven compared to clumping liters that track everywhere the cat goes (including your bed, gross) never found a pellet in my bed yet. Kudos to you tidy cat for the first real option in a mess free cat box! Cons to consider before buying; If your cat likes to dig in the liter it can be a bit noisy with the pellets. Especially at night when sleeping. I have gotten used to it and it doesn't bother me anymore. It's a small inconvenience to pay for all the benefits I get from it. Also, #2 can't really be buried in the pellets, so if you don't scoop right away it just sits on top. Not very pretty to look at. Overall, I'm giving it 5 stars across the board since it's made my life and my cats lives better. Note: I think it's funny someone posted a review saying they threw the system out the same day they purchased it and then said they used the product 2 - 3 months in the drop down menu. Sounds like a biased review to me. Give it a chance and be honest with your reviews. What works for some may not be what others are looking for. I hope this helps someone decide whether to buy or not.

Best thing ever

This is the cleanest, best smelling litter box I have ever owned. I read through the other complaints regarding this item and dont understand what their issues are. No you can not flush all of the litter pellets but the one or two that stick I have flushed multiple times with no problems. I think even with a regular litter pan, your dogs would have the same easy access to it, and the one or two pellets that I have found scattered outside the box is nothing compared to the amount of the regular litter I used to have scattered throughout the house. Also the other review re: cats using urinating near the edge and making a mess I have never had problems with either, if the cat goes in the corner the pan is angled so that all of the urine drips through in the very middle of the pad, I have never had any problems with the pads not absorbing the urine, unless I forget to change it often enough. I cant say enough how glad I am that I switched. This is the best product ever, although the only thing I've noticed is I am haveing a hard time finding replacement pellets. Walmart online does not apparently offer them, and in the store is now limited avail.

I love this product! & OTHER NEGATIVE REVIEWS...

I love this product! My cat used it as soon as I put it back in place. It's like she couldn't wait to try it out. The urine pad is great, a great idea. It really does hold all the odor, even after a week of use it still is undetectable. The litter pellets at first you would think 1 bag for an entire month is not enough but it is. It does stick to the fecal matter only when the fecal matter is still moist but even after 3 weeks of continuous use there is still enough pellets. *Note* If you wait until the fecal matter is completely dried out then the pellets will not stick to it. That would mean you would have to let it sit in there a 2 or 3 days before scooping it out. I learned that after leaving out of town for a few days and came back. All in all there is no smell at all! No mess at all! No continuous scooping/litter refilling at all! I thought about buying one of those expensive self cleaning litter boxes and decided for just one cat this is a better choice. I change the pad once a week, you don't need to change it any sooner then that. I also change the litter once a month you don't need to change it any sooner then that, if so your wasting your money. About the negative comments I have read on here... I believe it depends on your cat & if your patient enough to wait on the drying of the fecal matter. There are cats that are just plain dirty & messy. If your cat kicks up litter then put a cover on the box not only will it save litter and a mess but will also give the cat privacy. If your cat urinates on the sides of the box then make sure you have the white barrier attached to the box. If you have more then one cat and it seems to much for the box/litter/pad to handle buy another one, it's worth it. Last, if the litter sticks to the fecal matter then do as I said and wait till it dries before scopping it out. If you still find this is a bad product then I guess your just way to hard to please and go back to the old litter and box and deal with the mess, smell & aggravation.

I saw in another questions asked that it DOES come with a bag of litter. Does it also come with the scooper and the 4 pads?
by casey8907
  • Yes, it comes with a bag of pellets, a scoop, and a pack of 4 pads. Each pad is good for one week. You pull out the tray, put the liner in, and put the tray back. In the middle of the week, pull the tray out, turn it around and put it back in. Your hands never have to touch anything that's been soiled.

  • Yes it does hon, a one month supply of both the pellets = one bag, good for an entire month and four pads, meant to be changed once a week = one month's supply. It has a scoop that you can attach to the back of the box and a shroud that goes around the box. It comes exactly how you see it in the ad. I've had mine for a couple of weeks now and I am very happy with it and so is my kitten. I hope that helps, have a wonderful weekend.

  • Yes...It comes with one bag of pellets and one bag of 4 pads. However, I would recommend getting an additional bag of pellets, as well. One bag doesn't really give sufficient coverage, and the cat will be less likely to use it.

  • You get one bag of pellets with the system and one 4 pack of urine pads. I would order one extra bag of pellets for the transition because you have to put some in the old box to get the cat used to the feel. But this is so worth it! This product is awesome! Right now you can buy off shelf in some pet stores and of course this site. Pet stores sell out fast but either way you will save so much on what you were spending on litter!

  • If you buy the whole system it comes with a bag of litter and four pads to get you started. After that you're on your own. Surely Walmart sells pads and litter; also PetCo I'm told.

  • Yes, a little litter comes with it, more litter is at Petsmart (not sure walmart has the refill litter). There are 4 urine pads that come with the system (see if the doggie wee wee pads can be cut down to fit in it, to save money).

  • you get one bag of pellets and 1 pkg of pads (4 in pkg) when you buy the breeze litter box. then you can go to walmart or online, even ebay has worked for refills.

  • There is no litter with this system. Instead, there are pellets (less tracking than with traditional litter) and a urine-absorbing pad. Both of these have the "Breeze" label. You should be able to find them anywhere you can find the system itself. However, I have read several reviews which mention trouble finding the refills. You could either stock up when they are in the store or order them online directly from the manufacturer (more information from reading lots of reviews). If you have any other questions, browse through the reviews. There's a lot of useful information there.

  • You scoop the number 2 with the special scoop and lose very little of the pellets but it is done manually. The great thing is you are not trying to scoop urine that hasn't clumped. The urine goes right through to the pad. No more urine smell! So easy to maintain, you won't mind cleaning. It is awesome!

  • Littermaid is no good. This is different, you scoop, but less, because the urine goes to a tray at the bottom & is collected on a weewee pad. You won't have litter all over your house with this system. The pellets are heavy & stay in the box. This will save you money on litter, stays 100% cleaner too.

  • You have to scoop the poo out, but the urine is collected in an absorbent pad in a tray at the bottom, and you just switch the pad out as needed (once a week is usually sufficient for one cat).

  • You do have to manually scoop the solid waste but it is pretty easy to maintain and less overall time is spent cleaning or caring for the litter box. Not only s the price better then the Littermaid but you don't have to worry about a moter going out or the overflow if you forget to change out the collection pod.
