My counter just happens to be on carpet which may make the stool feel flimsy but I'm perfectly fine with it. Sometimes I do wish it had a more comfortable back but I still, for the price, love the way it complements my kitchen island. Very happy with purchase! 05/17/2011

They don't seem too sturdy, but I think they will last for as long as I live in this apartment.. so atleast 15months. They are very light and a little skinnier than what I thought they would be. Also, I like that I can adjust the height of the chairs. Putting the parts together was a breeze. 05/08/2011
