A lovely combination of capiz shells and beads, the Asli Arts Purple Capiz 21.5 in. Wind Chime with Wood Beads is hand-made by skilled craftsmen in Bali. Each capiz shell was sorted, sliced, shaped, sanded, and dyed to create a totally individual piece of art just for you. Though every part of this product is weather-protected, we recommend a few simple maintenance tips to keep it looking its best for years to come. Simply apply a thin layer of Danish or lemon oil to hardwood parts periodically. Regular application of oil will slow down the natural aging process of wood. Mild soap and water clean the capiz.

very sensitive and colorful It tinkles with the slightest breeze and is much louder than my cylinder chime. Although it is one tone, it tinkles at sporatic intervals and is pleasant. Great for the yard where a louder chime is needed. 10/27/2011
