More than i thought it would be. I took a chance and ordered these chairs. I'm always weary because they tell you the full width not just the seat size. We are not the size 5 people we are more of the size 18 and 42 size people so we need a roomy chair to be comfy. Oh my are these comfy. Very soft, you sink right in. The double cushions on the arms are really nice and me being 6 ft tall it is perfect length. The only thing is i don't like that you cant really close the footrest while sitting, you either have to use the lever or stand up and kick backwards but other than that I love them. It does not support my back like I thot it would. Also very hard to get out of reclining position not tall enough to reach handle or t.he floor and I am 5"6. It is very nice looking good color.but it hurts my back and neck 01/29/2012
too big this chair was to big to fit through the door to my home so I had to refuse delivery and send it back tko the WM warehouse 04/27/2012
