You'd have to buy two if you want it to be a slushy and not runny.

Yes it only makes one. But it doesnt not work very well. Would not recomend it!

KIDS WANT THIS BAD IT DID NOT WORK FOR ME.

Yes, one at a time considering the cup only effectively makes about 8 oz at a time.

This only makes one serving (about 8 to 10 ounces).

It is not as easy as they make it appear on TV (never is, right?). The beverage has to be COLD and the slushy magic cubes frozen solid. Then put the cubes in the shaker, pour in your COLD beverage, put the cap on, put your finger over the hole in the cap and SHAKE a lot (it says 1 to 2 minutes, but for ours it takes much closer to 2 minutes, maybe a little more, to get a slushy.

u will need to buy 2 it does not make very much the cubes take up most of the room

You would be better off with 2! My son has been using it daily since Xmas and the cubes need to be refrozen between slushies... Not so fond of it on the adult level, but he loves it

yes only 1 at a time and then you have to refreeze the cubes but dont waste your money cause it does NOT change the drink into a slushee, it stays in its natural liquid form. just gets cold. ice cubes do the same DUH

I got this for my kids and they love it. They are amazed how their favorite drink can turn into a slushy... They ask to use it almost every night. One thing I noticed is make sure you use all of the ice packets that come with it. If you only use two it will not freeze enough and makes it cold with a little slush on top. If you use all three right out of the freezer it works perfectly.

Fun and Educational for the Kids

The science behind it is sound but you still have to questions whether it will work. It's just like the old ice cream makers. salt and ice create intense cold. Will we use it on a regular basis, probably not but kind of neat on occasion.

Actually Works!

My daughter loves it. However, as a parent I am not a big fan. It makes a mess, and you get more drink then you do slushy.. It works for kids.. However, it's messy!! I wouldn't say it's great, but it's not terrible either. Just an average product!

The instructions do say that the colder the beverage, the better the slushy. This is OH SO TRUE! We found that unless the beverage is already really cold, we could not get Slushy Magic to make a slushy. It just made the beverage colder. Our beverages had to be 36 degrees F or colder in order for ourts to work at all.

Not what I expected

Just like that "Eggie" I bought a while back, the Slushy Magic will probably end up at my next garage sale table. If you're expecting a convenience store type slushy with this product, forget it. But it does make an very cold drink with a little slush floating on top, so I'm not giving it an F.
Also, be sure to do your shaking over a sink. Even with the lid screwed on tight, it leaks like crazy.

So-So product

I picked this up a couple months ago at Walmart. Got it out tonight to try and there is something gross(worm?) floating in one of the cubes! Going in the trash!

The inner lining containig salt and other material burst within the first two weeks. It was only occasionally  used as I purchased for my granddaughter. So much money for a product that took over three weeks to arrive and did not last as long as it took to ship. Poor product!

I can't believe I wasted money on this.   Making a lid with a airhole for a cup you have to shake isn't the smartest idea.    For carbinated drinks give a lil twist to the lid but NO they make a hole that has to have a fingure cover it as you shake it.
