We had to return this as our dog has thick hair and it just wouldn't work for us. 11/22/2011
Great massager but low suction power. I bought this product for my two cats. The massaging part of the product works well and my cats remained calm while I groomed them. It really does gather loose hair for you to suction up. The suction power, however doesn't really work. It doesn't pick up loose hair from your pet. Instead it blows the hair everywhere. I had to gather the hair that was blown everywhere and toss it into the shed pal when it was turned on. If you have a frisky pet I wouldn't advise this product. My two cats have very distinct personalities. One is frisky and the other is mellow. My frisky cat panicked every time I turned on the shed pal even though the noise level is low. My mellow cat let me turn it on for a few minutes but the humming of the motor still frightened him. 12/27/2011
Buy from Walmart--not the seller's website. I bought this from the Walmart website because it was the same item advertised on TV but less expensive and had much faster shipping. I mistakenly also bought from the seller's website. I paid $12 more and got it 2 1/2 weeks later.The ShedPal itself is reasonably good. Not as great a dog groomer as it appears on TV, but still fairly good. 12/14/2011
We have two miniature collies ( imagine lassie only at knee length ), and this barely worked on them. We were able to get more off them with a brush. If you have a short haired dog, it probably would work better. We're returning in to get our money back. 01/22/2012
