Excellent for removing pet hair from upholstery and the small one is good for clothing.

Let's see - when was the alst time vacummed? Must have been the day before I started using the long handle SCHTICKY! So easy to use, so great for seniors and requires only rinsing under hot water and occasionally a little bit of picking off the remains after washing. I was hoping the handle would be longer but can live with that also. It opens to about 32 inches full length. I will be ordering a backup so I am never without.

I was very worried at first after using the large roller and cleaning the first day as I thought it wasn't as sticky the 2nd time...... I thought that perhaps my dishwashing liquid might have alcohol or ammonia - as it says to avoid this or it will ruin the product. ....However, to compare, I touched the new smaller roller before use and it didn't feel that sticky either.... *** TIP 1: *** I purchased a mesh sink strainer at the dollar store so the hair and dirt doesn't go down the drain... ***TIP 2: *** Now I use a little shampoo on my finger when cleaning under hot/warm water... I recommend you NOT try to pick off things as it could ruin the silicon. After initial washing, then I spot clean again with shampoo the few areas that haven't come off. Pretty easy to clean!......***TIP 3: *** To dry the bigger roller... use a paper towel to blot and roll it around and carefully pull off. (Paper towels don't have lint like a "lint free" towel). It's the perfect size. I set aside the paper towel to dry and use it over again as it's still clean. ***TIP 4: *** I made a mistake once by not being careful sliding it back into the protective cover as I caught the silicon and somewhat ripped it up on the edge - but it layed back down pretty well. Now I'm careful!.... It STILL works great for my uses. (I'm mostly interested in lint and hair on the carpet or floor. I've used it about 20 times and it does still does pick up a penny like the commercial - but not every big thing... even though to touch it doesn't feel that sticky, it works.... If it were more sticky, I guess it might pick up the throw carpets, stick to hands, gloves, clothes, etc. which would be bad. You can wash it several times in one cleaning session and use again and again as it only takes a few minutes to dry...In multiple cleanings, I use more than one paper towel and lay them to dry for reuse....OVERALL:... I'm very pleased and can't live without it. (Don't have to keep getting out the vacuum and deal with the lint filter).... It gets dirty right away as a lot of link, hair, and stuff is on the carpets - so doesn't pick up everything like chuncks of bird seed as they are not smooth like a penny... but still great and I can't live without it now and have recommended it to others.

    • Did you take off the plastic sheet from around the roller. That is the only reason that I can think of that would make it slippery when wet and not sticky when dry.
