    I'm quite impressed with the Slendertone Flex Pro Ab toner I'd seen some bad reviews of products like this saying they didn't work, they were painful, used batteries very quickly; well I'm happy to say that all of that is bunk, I've only been using this for a couple weeks now and I'm already seeing results. When I started I needed the extension in order to put the belt on now after only a couple weeks using it I don't need the extension. I started the day I received it and started increasing the intensity to maximum as I got used to it I wore the belt for 22 hours straight and probably had it turned on for 14 of those hours it was even comfortable enough to sleep with it. I certainly felt no pain, just a tingling and a bit of a vibration as the muscles react. Starting out going 14 hours straight was a bit much when I did finally give it a break I was a bit sore but no more than I would have if I'd actually been doing sit-ups. So I had to give it a couple days of break to recover but then started again this time doing more like 40 minutes on then take a break then start it up again so far working this way has caused no ill effect and I'm very happy with the progress I've made using it so far. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has limited time and doesn't have time to do a full workout on a regular basis as a good way to get an abdominal workout.

    I measured my waist before I began this product (37 inches). I started using the product on 1/5/10. I've used the belt 10 out of the 12 days I've had it. I use it 25-30 minutes a day, and gradually have increased the intensity. Today is 1/17/10 and I re-measured my waist and have lost an inch around my waist (36 inches). Would definitely recommend this to everyone!

    after having a set of twins, I thou nothing could help any more. two years later I finally opted for the last option, Slendertone Flex Pro Abs, and is only been two weeks and I can see the difference my loose stomach is going back to normal. I shoul of done it before.

    • A. Ivery, Make 'em last. I had the same problem. But called in to complain about the error messages. This is what I was told to trouble shoot the error problem. Take your belt to the sink, and run your fingertips through the warm water, or cold, what ever is comfortable to you. Gently stroke each pad one at a time with clear water. Standing in the bathroom mirror works for me. I stroke each one and then immediately attach to my tummy. and press firmly into my navel and abs. pressing to make sure there is a solid contact. There ya go, dry your fingers and press the power button. I've used the same set for 7 weeks, sitlll working find, Apply the water each time or you'll get error messages again. Of course you'll have to change them eventually, but I want to squeeze at lease a month out of each set.

    The machine notifies you if the device isn't placed properly on your stomach and states that it should be repositioned It doesn't matter how many times I move the pads on the belt It continuosly display error on my left side which enables it to work those muscles I wonder if it might be defective or if my body type is the true problem I want it work so bad I'm 5'0 140lbs with a bit of flubber in the tummy area but not much Could it be me or should I send it back It has worked both side but not even through a full session Everything is brand new This was encountered during my 1st usage My pads have only been used for 3 sessions now but not full ones due to this problem

    • A. I think you have a bad belt, I have put my belt on off center, one side higher than the other, had some hay get on my gel pad, and it still kept right on working. I also have a bit of flubber.

    • A. It sounds like a defect to me. The system is rather simplistic. If the pads are in place properly (grid side of pads touching connectors) and you have the belt on tightly enough that the other side of the pads are touching you, it should function. Sounds like one of the sensors may have something wrong with it. It's worth exchanging, once you have one that works properly you will love it.

    • A. I've seen other reviewers complain about this too so you are NOT ALONE. Personally , I've had that happen only once(no explanation in handbook either) finally I got it to reset by pressing, I think, the Info button or 'pausing' the process. Whichever it may have been just luck by 'fooling' around with the other buttons?
